The lineup for coachella is supposed to be announced very soon and if you google Liam Gallagher Coachella, he is listed under confirmed on many different sites predicting the lineups. So we can expect a new album before then right?

If that's the case its mental to think we might have the album in around 3 months time!
The debut single must surely be imminent?

If he is, he would be on very very very very very early. Nobody is gonna know who he is which is fine but don't expect a top placement. Doesn't got the resume.

Unless he is just coming to build hype for back home and work all the kinks out... Unless he has a show in March, its weird he would debut in the US, but Liam has always said he loves coming here.

Unless he is just coming to build hype for back home and work all the kinks out... Unless he has a show in March, its weird he would debut in the US, but Liam has always said he loves coming here. A low key debut in the USA would actually make sense in some respects, as the crowd and music press in attendance for Coachella barring any British media sent over if he is announced are less likely to have any real expectations beyond a set from the "former Oasis singer including songs from his forthcoming debut solo LP" as opposed to "Liam Gallagher in the last chance saloon" type headlines that the British press are capable of wheeling out in their usual efforts to undermine anyone attempting to do something that doesn't simply involve a Daniella Westbrook career car crash If he does begin with a USA date/s and it goes well then the knock on effect could be to resurrect his profile somewhat in the States, as well as building up interest for his British and presumably European dates. Good luck to the bloke whichever way he chooses to launch his solo efforts, he has proven me wrong when I thought he would retire from music unless it was an Oasis reunion and I hope he continues to prove me wrong with a successful album and tour cycle

Maybe it's a bit of a throwback to 2001, when Oasis rebuilt by doing the most low-key tour they'd done since Definitely Maybe got released.
I can't see many people at Coachella having great expectations from him. He probably just has to be slightly above awful to bring a few people round.

Ah well....at least Toots & The Maytals are on the bill, and GBV who will presumably have three new LP's between now and then Serious question do Coachella do surprise performances or is it a case of when the line up is announced that's it set in stone? (no pun intended)

Fixed I bet that half of the people going to Coachella are spoilt posh teenagers who go there only for bragging about it on social media and for posting dozens of selfies dressed in their super-fashion haute-couture outfits. It's not about the music anymore... Coachella is mostly a snotty social event nowadays. (I don't want to over generalize of course... I'm sure that there are a few real music fans in there)

Im quite disappointed he isnt coming, I wouldve flew there just to see him. But that same plan completely backfired back when Beady Eye said they were coming in 2014... Coachella seems to be going further downhill every year, why is there so many fuckin DJ's and EDM shit now?! I always thought the point of Coachella was the whole hippie scene with indie and rock music.
