Just been relistening to The Beatles "Love" album and, by no means perfect, it's still a decent listen and a nice alternative to listening to any of their albums if you wanted a change of pace as it were.
So basically, will there be one? An Oasis album done in the same sort of way? I would like to think there will be one day (10-20 years but one day) and I can imagine it being just a nice alternative to the actual albums.
What are your thoughts?

I really think the songs are not nearly eclectic enough to work with.
Love is an interesting idea, but it primarily highlights George Martin's genius multilayered production, and the various textures and moods he was able to evoke derived from ideas that quite evidently came from somebody who was classically trained.
But any remixer is going to desperately struggle with mind numbingly basic instrumentals handled by Dave Sardy for example. The sophistication levels from Oasis productions are nowhere near the level required for a mash up. Their philosophy was a lot more punk and rebellious in the 90s and less carefully crafted than The Beatles in that it was mainly a philosophy of 'lay down basic tracks, overdub and turn up to 11'. Once they sanitised the recording with a more measured approach later on in their career, it took the rebellious and aggressive nature away from the band, leaving us with pretty standard and exceptionally dull recordings.
The Beatles pushed the recording studio to the limits, Oasis did nothing of the sort, so I think its an absolute no go area in terms of the prospect of a mash-up album.

I think the closest we will ever get are Beady Eye's 42.42 and idledreamer's brilliant Oasis - Forever remix album.

Forget the album, Oasis deserve the accompanying Cirque du Soleil production: tightrope walkers doing the monkey strut across 1000ft high wires while juggling plums, bald gymnasts mooning the crowd from trampolines, occasionally flashing their massive hairy testicles while Andy Bell lookalikes stand statue still staring shamefully at their feet.

Oasis pretty much did a cover version of the Love album's Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows.
Even though Noel said he hated that album.

Indeed. And it would be BIBLICAL.
