Its a lovely article and I do relate to it. They expressed largely positive feelings in a brilliantly simple way. I always feel that when people pick Oasis's music apart you start to lose the joy that was at the core of what made them great.
The Supersonic film brought that home to me, the feeling that perhaps I had spent to long debating the merits of this or that song and not enough time listening to them.

Never thought I would find "Oasis" and "hygge" in the same sentence. Cool

For example, I never really got into Shakermaker or Cigarettes & Alcohol (yeah, I know!), but after watching Supersonic something just clicked. I can't really explain why, but I realized that despite being my least favorite tracks from DM they're still pretty fucking good. And they always put me in a good mood. My musical taste has evolved during the years but listening to Oasis always feels like home, no matter what. What a band.

Nice article, it was the singer from Everything But The Girl who wrote it.

And why not?
Nothing has to be serious, weighty and introspective all of the time.
Life is full enough of that - and that's why I miss Oasis!

Oasis and Rik Mayall- two things that certainly inspired me in my younger days
