When I read this late last night I couldn't believe that part... Really cool if true though.

"I'd"? So "I would". Is this the exact quote? Because "I would," would mean that he's not involved. He would just like to be involved.

When I saw a fellow called Corey had written an article for Vogue magazine, about Liam's recent social media exploits, I felt sure I'd have to put up with another round of snarky remarks directed the way of the frontman of my favourite band of all time. Nice to see then, that Mr. Seymour sidestepped all that and actually, at the end there, even seemed to betray his own excitement for a potential Liam solo record. In fact, the only bit of scorn from him, he chose to pour on NME magazine. Which is absolutely fine by me...
I'm afraid though, I'm not so positive over a potential Liam solo record. I'll still buy it, like, but I'd rather have him just popping up doing backing vox or something on other on other people's songs. A Travis song here, an Ashcroft one there. Maybe sommat weird like the AA boys as well, similar to how he did that Prodigy track...

I guess yeah he would just like to be involved. Does make you wonder why he corrected himself though... makes me wonder if there is more to Liam's "back in the ring" tweets than meets the eye.

Plus, he did correct himself because he was saying he'd like to help Liam with his solo album... and then said he'd like to see him make a solo album instead. Geez.

I think he corrected himself because a few weeks earlier he said that he could not work with either Gallagher, because he does not want to get in between them. That was when that weird idea of the Vervasis musical was born, all of them merrily working together. Right! Also, Liam's message that the press should keep Ashcroft out of the Noel & Liam soap would not make much sense if there was anything going on. And for that Liam solo record, well, are you all tripping, he is not a c...

I have serious doubts that a Liam/Richard collaboration would result in anything better than DGSS.

I think I would prefer a Liam collaboration to Noel, and I just hope something happens cos' it would be amazing.

I have serious doubts that a Liam/Richard collaboration would result in anything better than DGSS. Depends who else is involved and whose producing to be honest- I actually like Richard's solo output although RPA was a missed opportunity given the artists he was working with. I can see it edging more towards BE and Ashcroft's solo stuff if it happened, although he has only just put out his own solo album so I can't see this going ahead unless it's an ongoing project.

Liam needs a modern, hip producer. He also needs someone to write him 80% of the songs. No shame in that. Just a fact.

I can see it edging more towards BE and Ashcroft's solo stuff if it happened, although he has only just put out his own solo album so I can't see this going ahead unless it's an ongoing project. Both Liam and Richard are capable of writing amazing songs, but neither of them has written a decent rocker. That could cause a problem with the album flow that plagues Richard's solo albums: an onslaught of midtempo ballads all in a row. But given the right producer, they could create something good, but I'm not sure if it'd be able to top anything by BDI. On a bit of a side note, I was actually quite surprised how bad UNOS was, considering that Richard had clearly made an attempt to revamp his sound. Though I loved the hip-hop aesthetic courtesy of No ID, the songs simply weren't there, and you can't polish a turd. As you say, a huge wasted opportunity.
