of course there is ultimately 'oasis' 'music' is their 'job' obv like many many people say when 'liam' or 'noel' are behind close doors / themselves very different people so to what 'their press image' (which lets be honest has fuelled the press attention for decades now) .. just the same as the any other celebs or world leaders etc etc.. edit.. think you are going the opposite direction to what I'm saying but i still believe more smoke and mirrors of pretence than real real fall out I know what you mean. Could be that as well, that it was partially created as some sort of stunt to attract attention from the media and to stay "relevant", kind of like Noel slagging off people and blurting out mean bullshit to stay in the public eye not saying its happening to be relevant but if liam and noel admitted they always meet up for family stuff and get basically accept each other existence the press be less interested in 'the estranged brothers who could reunite oasis' blah blah just seem like right from 1994 the press loves their falling outs so when not in a band anymore to keep that interest needs to 'real life' as such edit again .. sort of like them getting on would be a reunion without the band reunion.. like noel says once a band 'reforms' interest is lost the press love the fact they still falling out (so to some respect the relevance is sort of right)

Melanie Blatt looks like Hernan Crespo.

Just listened to the new All Saints album. I was looking forward to it, as I really like 'One Strike'. Unfortunately its not that good, very repetitive and boring throughout.

Par the course with a lot of artists unfortunately- one or two strong singles to get people in with a lot of filler thrown in to pad it out. Slightly off topic but along with the obvious things such as track by track downloading it was this sort of collections churned out by record companies that helped devalue the' album's as a body of work and not just a product.

Imagine how many albums, or rather, how few, you have to sell in the Netherlands to get to #1.

Imagine how many albums, or rather, how few, you have to sell in the Netherlands to get to #1. Not much I guess? I'm afraid it'd be the same here. I've read somewhere All Saints sold more in the first week with the previous album that went to no. 40. or something like that and that was just 10 years ago. Crazy.
