Interesting that he put PYMWYMI on the list, I like it too and he described well why and what I like about this track.
The lyrics of course are shit, Noel at his lazy mode, but the instrumentation does sound very hypnotic.

Had there been one more verse that would've taken the song some place, and less-muddy production, including better production of Liam's vocals (w/o that weird "slap-back" effect that was also used on ICSAL), this song would've been looked at more highly, and viewed as one of the best and most experimental rockers Oasis did, to go along with Gas Panic. Even now, it's still a decent rocker that is pretty experimental when you break down the different layers that do come to the forefront when the droning intro kicks in, and in the outro with that cool arcade racecar engine-like sound.

After a lot of thought, this is my final list.
To keep in theme with the source, I am not including B-Sides.
Doubt these positions will ever change for me
- Go Let It Out (My favourite, one of the first songs/videos that got me into Oasis when I was 7)
- The Shock Of The Lightning (Quality tune, remember waiting to hear its release on the radio)
- The Importance Of Being Idle (My other favourite Oasis video, but the song is rock solid)
- Lyla (Incredibly well produced song with great vocals IMO, the top of the amazing music year of 2005)
- Roll It Over (Liams near-best ever vocals, love to sing this in the car)
- I'm Outta Time (Best Liam penned track, shows that in 2009 he could still sing - for a while anyway)
- Turn Up The Sun (Best Opening song to any Oasis Album since DM)
- Gas Panic (Powerful, different, best played loud)
- Songbird (Tune)
- Bag It Up (Although I despise DOYS for its second half, this is great, still nothing on DBTT)
- The Turning (Great Song, gives DOYS False hope for rest of album though)
- Falling Down (Last Great song on DOYS, and what a cracking video)
- Let There Be Love (Liams vocals are outstanding)
- The Hindu Times (ROCKNROLL)
- Little By Little (Great singalong, usually when drunk)
- Stop Crying Your Heart Out (Overrated but still good, great outro)
- The Meaning Of Soul (Massively underrated, packs such a bite, love it)
- Fuckin' In The Bushes (Snatch init?)

bored at work so i did one:
1- falling down 2- gas panic! 3- let's all make believe 4- lyla 5- the shock of the lightning 6- stop crying your heart out 7- who feels love? 8- i'm outta time 9- little by little 10- keep the dream alive 11- turn up the sun 12- roll it over 13- idler's dream 14- songbird 15- mucky fingers 16- the hindu times 17- the turning 18- born on a different cloud
to be where there's life would have easily made my top 10 if we were talking live versions, but i just can't get past the dire production of the album version.

1) The Hindu Times 2) Lyla 3) Stop Crying Your Heart Out 4) The Importance of Being Idle 5) Revolution Song 6) I'm Outta Time 7) Little by Little 8) Let There Be Love 9) The Turning 10) (I Wanna Live in a Dream in my) Record Machine 11) Roll it Over 12) Bag it Up 13) Where Did it All Go Wrong? 14) Gas Panic! 15) Idler's Dream 16) Fuckin' in the Bushes 17) Shout it Out Loud 18) Songbird
I listen to 00s Oasis more than 90s Oasis, maybe just because the songs haven't been as overplayed, but I love those albums just as much as their 90s output, even if they're not up to the impossible standards of the first 2, DBTT and SOTSOG are classic albums, and HC and DOYS are flawed but great records

1. The Importance Of Being Idle 2. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 3. Go Let It Out 4. Lyla 5. Falling Down 6. I'm Outta Time 7. Let's All Make Believe 8. The Turning 9. Songbird 10. Part Of The Queue 11. Fuckin' In The Bushes 12. Where Did It All Go Wrong? 13. Gas Panic! 14. Waiting For The Rapture 15. Roll It Over 16. Turn Up The Sun 17. The Shock Of The Lightning 18. The Boy With The Blues
Giants = 6 Heathen Chemistry = 2 Don't Believe The Truth = 4 Dig Out Your Soul = 6
Unsurprisingly, the songs are quite well spread across the four albums (apart from Heathen Biology, which is just plain awful, barring the songs that make it into the list), no doubt because each album was laden with so much filler, so that even when the band were on something like a roll (2005-08) still only a few songs from the sessions were any good.

Well I think my list would be the same as space75grs' one. Any other band could make a career on those songs, for Oasis they're "just" the latter day tunes...
