I wouldn't be surprised if the airing of The Girl With X-Ray Eyes demo is one of the exclusives.

MUSIC: Radio 2 in Concert: Noel Gallagher On: BBC Red Button 1 Date: Monday 7th December 2015 (starting in 10 days) Time: 20:00 to 21:15 (1 hour and 15 minutes long)
Jo Whiley presents an intimate night of live music from The BBC Radio Theatre. Stepping to the stage is Noel Gallagher, the creative force behind Oasis, a band that scored 8 UK number one singles, 8 UK number one albums and defined the world of Britpop in the 90s. At the time, Noel penned a vast number of classic hits including Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova. However the band split in 2009 and since 2010 Noel Gallagher has been working alongside his High Flying Birds, but in this performance he returns to the Radio Theatre to perform an acoustic set of songs from his back catalogue and second solo album Chasing Yesterday, another number one album released earlier this year and one that has seen him gain further critical acclaim and collaborate with former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.

the setlist should be Noel's favorite songs that everyone else thinks is shit. Force of Nature Mucky Fingers She Is Love Magic Pie High Horse Lady Probably All in the Mind Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks The Good Rebel Gold! It doesn't matter how much you hate it, but Force of Nature live is great

Plus also, they overbook incase people don't turn up so the venue is full. You could get tickets but still not get in. A real bugger if you're travelling for it.

Yes,I nearly found that out the hard way for the Radio 4 mastertapes thing a while back. got off the tube and two guys in front of us were clearly going to Maida Vale as well as i heard them ask for directions. so me and my mate followed them, as we were walking i laughed and said to my mate, i would laugh if they got the last 2 seats........10 mins later in the queue, the two guys we followed were assigned tickets 149 and 150(the last seats) and we were given standby tickets 1 and 2!! If looks could kill i would be six feet under!! We waited ages and ages and thankfully we got in as 2 people didnt turn up so we pretty much had the last seats in the house! I now know never to joke about these things ever again, as that would have been a total wasted £60 journey on the train if we hadn't got in!!

I actually do half wonder whether they pick people closer to the venue a it increases the chances of people showing up, I mean Im probably wrong and it is done randomly but if someone wins tickets up in manchester or whatever they are less likely to actually show up than someone close by because its a much bigger hassle to travel down etc than a simple night out and if theyve distributed it out across the whole country then Im sure you would end up with a lot not showing, the BBC must care more about making sure they get a full audience rather than giving everyone a fair chance so to speak, more so for these one off things.
maybe Im just being cynical...
