Has anyone on here managed to nail the guitar tone for The Girl In The Dirty Shirt? If so, what equipment are you using? I'm pretty sure it's played on a Fender Strat but I'm wondering what amps and/or pedals to use. I can't crack it and it's driving me nuts.
Cheers

Cheers To my knowledge Noel very rarely uses Fender guitars on recordings, only heard of Some might say...pretty sure it's a Gibson or an Epiphone Sheraton on this song. A good source for Noel's equip: www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/article/2472-the-complete-noel-gallagher-oasis-gear-guide.html

Orange Amp + Tubescreamer + Boss Space Echo + ES 335 into a couple of 4 x12's (Micro Terror + Reverb + TS7 + Epiphone if you are on a budget)
