I've always thought that Staring at the Sun sounds very Oasis-y. It would have fit perfectly on one of their later albums. Best song Noel never wrote.

Cum on Feel the Noize....As exemplified by Maine Road '96, that song was made for Oasis. Fucking aced that. Madness.

A song off of Paul Wellers recent album strikes me as being pretty Oasis like. I can imagine Noel singing it easily.
Going My Way

Probably a bit late but would've loved to have had noel record One Way Road like Weller's version-

The Drugs Dont Work. Imagine that song on Standing on the Shoulder of Giant, album would be 30% better.

If BHN would've had Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve) and All You Good Good People (Embrace) on it, it would've made BHN an album of epics, especially if those two would've replaced The Girl in the Dirty Shirt and Be Here Now, while Stay Young replaced Magic Pie, with All Around the World and It's Getting Better (Man!!) shortened a bit, and more context added to Fade In-Out in order to make its 7 minute running time worth it more.

Sons of the Stage.
I'm not kidding when I say that BDI covering that song was the best thing they ever did, and it's a damn shame Oasis never covered it as it's perfect for Oasis. It's the best Oasis-related cover after Cum on Feel the Noize.

Without a doubt the best thing Beady Eye did.
Love their version.

- Kid A, the full album in 2000 (Now THAT would blow some fucking minds!!) That is just hilarious to think about!! Imagine Oasis being elevated the the status that people have given Radiohead! Noel would be hailed as more innovative than the Beatles I'm sure.

Honestly I would have to say I wish Oasis had made " Can Y'see It Now? (I Can See It Now!)" And I know thats not exactly the point of this thread, but what I mean by this is I wish they had produced a real song out of it. It is definitely one of the greatest music pieces they ever made. Outstanding, in fact. If they had only written some proper lyrics to it (with Liam OR Noel vocals, or a combo of the two) it could have been one of the greatest songs Oasis ever did. Whenever I hear it I feel sad, because of what potential it has. They did, it's called "Mucky Fingers"

Although I still like Mucky Fingers.

Oasis doing Kid A??
I have a theory, and I've said here a hundred times, if Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is was a Radiohead song, critics would rave about it.
Listen to this, I like the album, but this song in particular is shit, a boring pretentious piece of weird bullshit, I always skip this, now if it was an Oasis song people wouldn't look that fondly toward this song.

It sounds like an old Pokémon game from the original Gameboy.

I really like Kid A's title track, it conjures up the image of a peaceful meadow through the use of glockenspiel before giving it sinister undertones through distorted vocals (and it becomes even more menacing if you read the lyrics, which are rendered nearly incomprehensible as if to hide their meaning), and then finally becoming outright scary with its last note, which then perfectly fades into the next track, The National Anthem. An amazing song.

Look at what you've wrote man, you could work for Pitchfork, or being just another idiot writing reviews on Rateyourmusic.

It'd be fun to join their ranks! But Kid A is by no means an easy song to appreciate, it took me tens of listens to finally love it. If you have the patience, you can finally digest these abstract tracks.

Yep, in the same way that Karma Police gets raved about despite as far as I can hear having been written for them under the title "Dear Prudence" by some Liverpudlian songwriting duo...the real people? oh no sorry the beatles

Half way through 2015 and I'm still waiting for that Liam/Thom conversation to happen.

The Roller, Evil Eye and The Morning Son.
I'm still fine with Wigwam and Four Letter Word by Beady Eye.

Would have had The Roller in place of Hung InA Bad Place on HC, and TMS replacing Better Man maybe? either way definitely have had Steve Lillywhite in to breathe some life into that album's sound....
