Just a thought I've had since I answered the DOYS thread (can't remember which now) but I just been thinking about it more. If Oasis reformed and released no albums but instead released an EP of say 5 tracks every 6/7 months, would it work? Say something like:
January - March: Recording 10/11/12 songs
March - mid May: Little UK tour 1st week of tour, 1st EP last week of tour, 2nd EP WEEK OFF
End May - Mid June: Record more songs Glastonbury
June-September: Little US tour Release 3rd EP at beginning of July Back for T In The Park Off to America Back for V Festival Finish American tour Week off at the end of September
October - December: UK Tour Release 4th EP
What do you think?

This will sound weird, but IF Oasis ever reformed (I'm not making the assumption they will), then I'd quite like a couple of EPs rather than an album.
Maybe 3 EPs maximum, each one comprising one song from each member. That way we have more releases to hype up and look forward to. Plus, a full album would no doubt contain filler which could be avoided in an EP of a few tracks.
Never going to happen, but I like the idea.

I mean, the singles charts are pointless nowadays and the album chart I think it's a bit bolloxs as well now. 3 EP's, 4/5 songs on each. a good 12-15 new tracks that can be performed live after each EP is released. Should be done

It is "EPs" not "EP's"...

probably would work better because at the end of the day it would "trim the fat", they would assure that the songs on there are the best and wouldnt waste time entertaining the idea of putting the nature of reality's on there.

EPs would be a great idea cos then they could stick to releases completely written by N. Gallagher.
