What I mean is, a song that you used to love but now hate (or at least just cannot stand to listen to now) also, is there any Oasis/BE/HFB songs that you used to hate or couldn't stand but now like?
Some Oasis songs I used to like but now dislike: Columbia (I feel it drags, has nothing exciting about it) Let There Be Love (used to adore it but now I just feel it's boring and doesn't go anywhere) One Way Road (used to always put it on a SOTSOG playlist because I loved it but now I feel it's boring and goes nowhere and is too long)
Some Oasis songs I used to dislike but now love are: All Around The World (used to think it was too long, too OTT and awful, now one of my absolute favourites) Be Here Now (the song) (just like above, used to think it was too long and OTT but now I can listen to it, not one of my favourites but still like it) Sunday Morning Call (used to think it was boring but now I adore listening to it, especially if I have a bad day at work) Bring It On Down (my oldest "used to dislike now love" track. Remember hearing it before any other Oasis track because my "at-the-time stepdad" actually owned Definitely Maybe and I randomly put BIOD on and turned it off within a minute because I thought it was absolutely awful. Once I got into Oasis I put the album on and found I didn't mind it but still thought it was shit...now it's in my top 10 fave songs)

Songs I used to dislike but now like Hey Now (Used to think it was boring and always skipped it till I looked the actual lyrics up and now love it) Bring it on down (same as above really, now it's my favourite off of Definitely Maybe) Sad Song (Used to find it really depressing until I could relate to the song) Force of nature (just used to think it was an album filler really till I saw them perform it on TOTP) Little James (The only reason I didn't was other peoples opinions tbh) Mucky Fingers (used to think this song was just awful until I saw them performing it in Manchester 2005) Go let it out (Just used to think it was irritating) The boy with the blues (used to think it was boring) ------------------------------------------- Songs I used to like but now dislike Songbird (Used to be one of my favourite songs, now it doesn't really have any meaning to me at all) Wonderwall (not that I actually dislike it but it's so overplayed I have to go several months between listening to it)

Cigarettes & Alcohol: Thought it was shit for about the first six months. And then the genius of it just hit me and I've loved it ever since.
Half The World Away: Found it boring for a long time, probably because my memories of listening to that song was during a bad stage of my life. Really enjoy it now though, I get what its about.
I Hope I Think I Know: Always used to find myself skipping this one, now I always find myself replaying it.
It's Better People: I thought this was awful for a long time. Then I heard a live version of it on YouTube and thought "that's a fuckin tune that is".

Songs I used to dislike but now like : Hey Now ! (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star
Hey Now ! was never brilliant enough to be on MG, especially with all those incredible B-sides. But it's a very good song. It just took time to realize it. I used to hate YGTHOAS for a while and I used to love screaming it. And one day, this song took me by surprised. I made my mea culpa and it became clear that I should defend it everywhere it was attacked.
Songs I used to like but now dislike : Be Here Now It's a shit song, innit ?

Well, I don't have any songs I "hate" except Four Letter Word and no progress on that yet...
HOWEVER
Stop Crying Your Heart Out is a weird one for me. I can't stand the song up until the 2nd chorus. It just sounds dramatic, over the top, like laughable self-parody. But by the 2nd chorus (brilliant Liam vox) then the little solo and the song just soars beautifully. I love it from that point on to the final notes. Live, the song is great too, full band or Noel's acoustic version (or Noel doing full band version in Pompano Beach 2002). Brilliant, brilliant song for the live setlist.
But the first minute or so...woefully bad.

Love/Hate relationship? Definitely these.. Stand By Me (Almost sounds like a manufactured Oasis ballad, but the vocals and chorus suck me in at times..) Gas Panic (Lyrics and vocals are fucking mega but a little too dragged on..) Born On A Different Cloud (the song itself is good, but a pretty depressing track..) Who Feels Love? (I like the trippy kind of intro and sound to it but also dragged on..) All Around The World (Generally depends on the mood I'm in, but sometimes I can't stand it and sometimes I love it ) Most of them are there cause they're too long or a little too out of it for my liking. But yeah that's just my pick of the crop.

Little By Little. Some days I think it's completely anthemic; others I think the lyrics are shit and it's a really plodding song.

Some Oasis songs I used to like but now dislike: Columbia (I feel it drags, has nothing exciting about it) Get the fuck out. One of the best off of DM. Mega live, too - that Barrowlands 2001 performance is top. This is confusion and you're bally well confusing me.

I go through phases with Sunday Morning Call more than any other song,
At one time it was in my Oasis top 10! Then I started to hear the dreary nature which most people heard and hardly ever listened to it and now it's somewhere in the middle,
I can literally listen that song one day and love it and the next time turn it off half way through
Also I used to LOVE It's Getting Better (Man!!) it was one of my favourite ever songs, now it irritates me a bit and probably one of my least favourites on BHN

Like Mean Mrs. Mustard said, I wasn't a big fan of Who Feels Love on first listen. I thought it was boring and long, but after hearing it more I can appreciate the experimental aspect of it. Also, Fade-In Out. I made a edit of it that I really enjoy as well.
