I have been watching it but have had to nip out. Love watching O'Sullivan and Trump and they play close, intriguing matches.
I don't know many other people who follow Snooker anymore though.

I'm awful at snooker, but I love watching it, Steve Davis isn't anywhere near his best now obviously but he still plays in the seniors and certain qualifiers, people still love the guy and he attracts crowds

Yes I do think Trump and O'Sullivan are the two most exciting players, much closer match this time around so far. I'm pretty much on my own for following snooker now also, however only last year was when I started getting properly into it and now I watch as much as I can

I remember seeing O'Sullivan as a youngster doing the 147 in a record time. He's certainly been great for the sport.

A tournament always feels important when O'Sullivan treats it seriously. This World Grand prix feels more important because he wants to win it. The Welsh open felt so low key this year with him not liking the venue and it only being on BBC Wales

I'm partial to a bit of snooker. I enjoy watching it and even though I'm not very good, enjoy playing it whenever I get a chance.
Rocket Ronnie has been a revelation.

It's been a while since he last zoned out and didn't care too much. The evening session is about to begin...

Yes, I'll be watching it from start to end, i'm going for 10-8 Judd Trump, I reckon he needs to beat Ronnie in a big final to give him that boost for the world championships

Ronnie has come all guns blazing but he normally does, can see him going 8-5, 8-6 and then judd plays freely for a few frames and momentum takes him to that 10-8 but i can see it being another intriguing one

Either way, Trump can never be underestimated. Especially after his victory yesterday.

Yeah both times Ronnie has taken off, Trump always gets better results when he attacks, yesterday he didnt have much to play for and he started potting everything and he won, the UK final was the exact same thing except Ronnie pulled an amazing safety in the deciding frame.

Absolutely love snooker, it has to be the most relaxing and therapeutic aport out there to watch. Grew up in the era of Stephen Hendry's dominance but it was always about Ronnie O Sullivan for me, watching those maximum breaks in 1997 world championships.
Really has a calming influence in me, and watching players get a 147 maximum is a work of art.

Trump's not had a good opportunity to attack so far this evening. Your prediction could still be spot on if he can keep Ronnie from getting in amongst the balls.

Trump's attacking play is really picking up. Really difficult to call so far, I'm still calling Ronnie to win the next frame to go 8-6 up and Trump to win the last 4 frames.

I'm so glad Trump won, gutted i missed out on my prediction though! To win 6 frames in a row is impressive stuff. I fully expect this to give him a huge morale boost for worlds next month.

What a day of snooker! First day of the world championships, and the tension between Mark Selby and Kurt Maflin, right down to the wire, breathtaking stuff, If you like your snooker then you should check out the highlights on BBC iplayer, good stuff.

Not the biggest Selby fan to be honest, I think his game play is quite dull. I don't think he'll win it this year though.
I'm thinking Shaun Murphy may be in for a good championship, probably the best he's played since he last won ten years ago.
