Hey all! New to this board. Figured this would be the right board to ask a question I've wanted to ask Oasis fans for awhile? (If not, just direct me to the best Board to ask)
For me, It's probably this gem from Some Might Say:
"Some might say, they don't believe in Heaven Go and tell it to the man who lives in hell"
Right when I heard that lyric I loved it.

Is it worth the aggravation To find yourself a job when there's nothing worth working for? It's a crazy situation But all I need are cigarettes and alcohol

There really is too many to mention. Depends what kind of mood I find myself in. To pick just one is near impossible.

The 'Some Might Say' lyric you mentioned and this one:
"Day by day there's a man in a suit who's gonna make you pay, For the thoughts that you think and the words they won't let you say."

Is it worth the aggravation To find yourself a job when there's nothing worth working for? It's a crazy situation But all I need are cigarettes and alcohol That's probably mine as well. Really the only Oasis lyric that truly meant something. I was amazed when I read that Noel didn't consider it anything special when he wrote it and it was someone else who pointed out the social meaning to it. Also I really like: Don't go away, Say that you'll stay Forever and a day However I was really disappointed when I found out Noel took it word for word from a Real People song.

"It's hard enough being alone Sitting here by the phone Waiting for my memories To come and play"
The chorus evokes painful memories from my childhood but this remains one of my favourite b-sides from the early days.

"Get off the floor and believe in life No ones gonna ever ask you twice" Thanks for that! As english is not my mother tongue I am able to listen to something and totally ignore the meaning behind the "sound of words". This never really stood out to me, eventhough I love DYKWIM. Reading it out of the context of the song it's probably the most fitting lyric to describe the spirit of Oasis and the Gallaghers.

Get up off the floor and believe in life, No one's ever gonna ever ask you tiwce
Alot of the lines on Be Here Now make me feel so powerful and untouchable and that probably is my favourite one.

Add to the fact, Liam's stance and pose in the video just before he sings that.
