Congrats to the kid who won and I know this is only part 1 of the interview but what's the point in asking Noel a question that has already been asked to him dozens of times by now? We know when he wrote the album and the genesis of Riverman. Dig deeeeeeper than that.

Exactly, I'd be asking him questions I You flew all the way to England from Hungary to ask Noel when he started recording Chasing Yesterday? Fucking hell..........................

Never know, in Part 2, he may ask how Noel came about writing 'Lock all the doors', or maybe what song influenced 'Riverman'? Maybe if we expect any dance moves in the live shows?

Some questions just need to be asked! Bet he isn't a forum member! If he is, find out his name so we can troll the fuck out of him...he's got some serious making up to do in Part 2!

Is it even worth to watch this? Judging from everyone's comments it isn't and it should almost make one feel embarrassed to be a fan.

What I would ask:
1. What happened to Slow? 2. When is the Be Here Now re-issue coming? 3. Do you think you would still colab with Amorphous Androgynous again after the album fiasco? 4. Will we hear any new songs that are not on the album or deluxe version on tour, like you did with Freaky Teeth?
Glad he did ask him about his current thoughts on Jazz, was puzzling me that he said it was s**t few years ago and then makes The Right Stuff a track on his new album.

I don't get it, if I'd get this opportunity I'd be looking on fan forums in order to ask the best questions, even if I weren't a member of this site.

I'd have opened with missing in action songs like Slow, The Red The White and The Blue, The Magic Can't Be Right, Come On Outside, and so on. I'd also dig into the Death In Vegas sessions and Be Here Now reissue. Basically I want answers to the great Oasis/Noel mysteries over the last 20 years.

He wouldn't have gotten the interview if he rolled in with fanboy questions. That's a guarantee. When this was first announced, Noel's management specifically said that they'd be looking for someone who would ask about the current album and tour. Anyone who thinks a super fan was going to get this and ask all the questions people was begging for was already doomed to be disappointed. Edit: not saying you specifically was expecting the above to happen. Just in general.

Noel likes Sun Ra. And so my music collection goes full circle.
I'm going to sleep well tonight.

When I was in college majoring in journalism one of the big tenants we learned was to advance a story, not just repeat what was previously reported. Find a new angle to take and enlighten a reader or audience.
