Interviewers: So before we start, what we like to do is ask you what song you'd like to have played underneath the interview. Anything of yours, anything completely mental- MM: 'I Wanna Live Forever' Interviewers: By? MM: Oh, I don't know, that band... Interviewers: Go on... who? MM: Oasi- Gayasis Interviewers: [hahahaha] Who are they? [inaudible talking... blah, blah, blah] MM: Play-asis
Interviewers: You have a new album out and it's called 'The High End of Low', where did the idea for that title come from? MM: Somebody asked me how I felt on January the second, the record finished on January the fifth, my birthday, and my friends had seen me over the holidays, they said "How you doing?" I said "I'm at the high end of low." Around the same time I saw one of the Gallaghers, they listened to the record, he listened to my record and he said "aww I like this but it sounds like us" and I said "In that it's good?" and then he yelled at me and then he took the guitar and he started playing songs for me, but, erm, in the midst of it all, erm, that was around when the record was at the end. I made the record from November to January-Feb, when I lived alone for the first time. Nicole Appleton (one of the interviewers): He did say to send his love to you. MM: I'll send his love back. Nicole: He's fallen over and pretty much broken his ankle by the way. MM: You should get him roller blades. Interviewers: [hahahaha] Other Interviewer: You should pull him around. Nicole: Just drag him by his hair. MM: Yeah. I saw him- first time I met him he was backstage and he had long hair and I said "If you've got long hair you've gotta have a big fucking comb." Other Interviewer: Is that when you fell in love? MM: That's when I fell in love.
Nicole: Is it nice to be working with him [Twiggy Ramirez] and has it changed the outcome of this album? MM: Yes. I mean it made this record I had always wanted to make - he and I had always wanted to make and it's funny because... one of the only people to have heard the record was for said Liam. He comes in and he's like... Nicole: Why's he always in the interview?? MM: Because he comes into the studio and he's like - he grabs the guitar and I'm like "It's my studio". "I like this fucking song it sounds like me". I'm like "Okay, and that it's good?"
Your welcome.

Wait, is this before or after the love child? 2014 must be after right? Nicole seems pretty relaxed talking about Liam.

He's being interviewed about his 'new' album 'The High End of Low' which, after a quick Wikipedia check, came out spring 2009 and was recorded winter 2008-2009... which is when Liam obviously rocked up.
