Incredible. Nuff said.
Also, is there a chance anyone here went to this gig?

Astoria 1994 I believe. This and Glastonbury 1995 are the best live versions IMO

Bit too high-pitched for me - almost Live Forever (demo) standard.
But you have to applaud when Liam sings the start of the Slide Away chorus as per the album version.

Live Forever from the same gig. Jeez this has to be at least early August '94, right around the release of LF as a single, and before the release of DM.

I think this gig was the same day as the MTV Most Wanted acoustic session

I think this gig was the same day as the MTV Most Wanted acoustic session Our savior thank you! Been wondering if there was a full recording of it! SetlistColumbia Fade Away Digsy's Dinner Shakermaker Live Forever (Crowd didn't go as wild for this as Supersonic, so LF must've just released early that month) Bring It On Down Up In The Sky Slide Away Cigarettes & Alcohol Supersonic (Crowd went crazy for this, definitely before the release of DM) I Am The Walrus This is some historic footage!

The band got so much better musically, and didn't hit their peak until DBTT/DOYS eras. Gem had a lot to do with that, along with Noel tightening the ship even further. A damn shame, because there's never been a perfect live version of Slide Away either due to the band not being musically tight (evidenced here), or due to Liam's declining vox of the '00s. Fuck. My favorite Oasis song ever, too.

Never been to crazy about Slide Away, but one thing has to be said: that song is fucking intense yo.
