Anything Oasis, or even post-Oasis, if you can think of it.
The ones that come to mind for me are Where Did it All Wrong? and The Hindu Times. Both of those features some really cool experimentation from the band that I wish they would've gone with, and displays very well that the band was more than just a brash rock group.
I love both versions of WDiAW, but to me, THT was a complete missed opportunity.

Waiting for the Rapture" (Alt. Version #2)
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the album version.

I hope the album version of DOTL will be better than the demo. If Noel does the same thing he did with Record Machine and Stop the Clocks for HFB1... well let's hope he doesn't.
Staying on topic, the demos of LTBL (The 'It's A Crime' 2000 version and 2005 Demo version) are way better than the DBTT final version.
Liam singing Lord Don't Slow Me Down is way better IMO.

Waiting for the Rapture" (Alt. Version #2) SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the album version. It's a shame that Noel wanted to go for a more of a "rocking", and rather derivative, version, instead of the elegance & romance that is captured in the Alt Version. I truly think it could've been a standout on DOYS, especially if it would've been a single. The album version's still not too bad, but it's reasonable to not enjoy it as much when you see what it could've been.

I prefer the alt version of Waiting For The Rapture, although I have listened to it in the context of the album and I don't think it fits as well as the 'Doors' version.
Even though the quality is terrible, I really like the 'Magic Pie' and 'I Hope, I Think, I Know' rough mixes.
Other ones that come to mind are 'Where Did It All Go Wrong' with the organ in it and the 'Songbird' full band demo - which almost sounds like a different song. Absolutely love the Beatlesque sound.
'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' sounds infinitely better with Liam on vocals.

The Hindu Times, Where Did It All Go Wrong, Songbird and Let There Be Love are the biggest four for me.
THT demo is better than album version in my opinion. Shame it doesn't have Liam or the new lyrics on it though.
LTBL's demo just sounds more genuine to me. The album version is just a bit too compressed but the duet with the brothers is very solid.
Songbird's demo is just a nice alt take on the song. Yeah it kinda sounds like there just throwing stuff on there to see if works but I like drums, bass and the prominent harmonica.
WDIAGW is about on par with the album version for me. Love the organ, eerie guitars and the drum loops. Really does sound like some shit you'd make while you're abusing anti-depressants/coming down.
Gas Panic's demo has a really nice sedated sound going on, it but it obviously isn't as great as the album version. Still its cool to hear it stripped back. Waiting For the Raptures alternative take is better than than album version but it wouldn't have fitted on DOYS.
The DBTT demo of I Wanna Live In A Dream (In My Record Machine) (Demo) also might be better than the HFB's version because the bass line it just makes it so much better.

Where Did It All Go Wrong and The Hindu Times spring to my mind.
I also love the Gas Panic! demo... maybe not better than the album version but it's awesome indeed.
EDIT: I forgot Songbird! Now that demo is massively better than the album version, which is plain dull...

I know it's already been mentioned several times but THT is the biggest example,
The demo sounds like it could have had a place on SOTSOG. It's got an awesome, eerie vibe to it which given some proper SOTSOG production and Liam's vocals could have been a truly fantastic tune.
Instead, just like everything else during this era, the album version stripped back any forward thinking and innovation and ended up sterile and bland

THT isntrumental with Liam's vocals and the lyrics from the album version would be amazing.
LTBL demo is way better, should've been a noel sung tune, never liked liams vocals on it
Live Forever demo is way better, if it had Liams album vocals it would've been even better.

The demo of Live Forever. I like the intro with the acoustic guitar, and Liam's vocals are better. Sounds somehow more youthful and longing than the album version.
Also agree that the demo version of WFTR is better than the Five-To-One-ripoff. But like someone else said, the "The Doors-version" fits better in the context of the album.
The Importance Of Being Idle. Noel showing off his whistling-skills, and the vocals are if possible a little better than the studio version, which IMO is one of his best vocal performances. Cleaner in a way.
If you look at post-oasis, I think the unsardyfied demo for Broken Arrow (Fallen Angel) and the demo of I'd Pick You Every Time are better than the studio versions of those songs.

I don't really care for Oasis' demos.
But The Hindu Times' demo is MASSIVE. Everything about that should have been the finished version; and, what's more, should have laid down the guantlant for the sound of HC instead of the dull shit we got.
Record Machine's demo is better too - with the bass and the punchier guitar solo (although I do like the added choir on the studio release).

The Hindu Times. Although the lyrics of the album version are slightly better Cannot agree in the lyrics, IMO THT was the point that defined Oasis worst albums HC AND DBBT - great pessimistic lyrics and an avalanche of guitar with an AMAZING drum loop turned into cringeworthy MOR dad-rock lyrics with boring instrumentation The ghost that is your soul it leaves me cold babe vs cos god give me soul in my rock n roll babe What you believe is not fair/When you leave yeah the world won't care vs I do believe I got flair, I got speed and I walk on air

STC and RM demos are so much better. Can't believe some would switch WFTR album version with the demo! LDSMD with Liam vocals are better imo. Songbird demo is fresh and different but wouldn't say it's better.
