You don't need to be an Oasis fan to know that Oasis references the Beatles all the fucking time. So let's play a difficult game! Let's try to list every Beatles reference in Oasis! Some off the top of my head - Supersonic
- "Sail with me in my yellow submarine"
- Roll With It
- "Cause it's all too much for me to take"
- Wonderwall
- Don't Look Back in Anger (opening piano from Imagine)
- She's Electric (riff pinched from While My Guitar Gently Weeps)
- D'You Know What I Mean?
- "The Fool on the hill and I feel fine"
- My Big Mouth
- "Got a long and winding road"
- All Around the World
- Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na! Na Na Na Na NA!
- It's Gettin' Better (Man!!)

When they say Backbeat the word is on the street, that is supposed to be a homage to Ringo.

The aaaaaah bit at the end of She's Electric is the same as the aaaah bit at the end of With A Little Help From My Friends
"Another sunny afternoon, walking to the sound of my favourite tune, TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS what it doesn't know too soon"-Morning Glory
"I'd like to be under the sea"-Take Me Away
"I'd like to be under the sea in an octopus garden in the shade"-Masterplan
Be Here Now was something Lennon said. "So I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed cause you said the brains I had went to my head" is also a Lennon reference. He said something like this on a tape. And of course we have the recording of John Lennon at the end of I'm Outta Time

Supersonic guitar solo is basically Harrison's My Sweet Lord.
Cigarettes in Hell is very obviously influenced by Lucy in the Sky.

Guitar solo in Roll It Over is obviously nicked from Come Together. ---- Wonderwall (title) obviously taken from Harrison's 'Wonderwall Music' album. Shit loads really... It'd take a lot of time to try and list all of them.

All Around the world reprise has Penny Lane trumpets. And wasn't there a song in which the lyrics include "Diamonds in the sky"?

"Go let it out and go let it in" is similar to lyrics the Hey Jude lyrics "let it out and let it in"

This one is a stretch but the storyteller in Underneath the Sky with no face and no name whose whereabouts are sort of unknown always made me think of Nowhere Man.

"I've pulled me fucking groin!" is a reference to Ringo's "I've got blisters on me fingers!"

To me Sittin Here In Silence (On My Own) sounds literally like a Beatle wrote it around the White Album era

If we're talking visuals too...the artwork for the DLBIA single was inspired by the story of Ringo leaving the Beatles during the recording of The White Album. When he returned they decorated his drumkit with flowers.

I am Outta Time has that Lennon bit as well Was mentioned already. Also: In Shakermaker, Liam is holding a Wings LP. Red Rose Speedway I believe. The car on Be Here Now has the same license plate as the police van on Abbey Road. The video for All Around The World was inspired by Yellow Submarine. They even come across one. LIAM NAMED HIS SON LENNON GODDAMNIT And Zak Starkey played with them. Duh.
