I've got the crappy instrumental on my version which I bought in Sainsburys today. A waste of space really.

I'm lazy and at work... can someone take a moment to transcribe the lyrics to Trip Inside. Thanks. Exactly the same as the studio version, with a few tweaks. There is no "your shit jokes remind me of Digsy's" in the first verse. Instead it's "please sit down you make me feel giddy" in both the first and final verses. Chorus is different: "What you wanna know? How you gonna show? Sing a song for me One from let it be Come on stand aside Off a wall on a trip inside" That's it. Oh, and no 'yeah yeah yeah' at the end - as that was something Liam suggested during recording.

Anyone else feeling a complete lack of "Magic Pie" on this reissue? At least a studio demo, live radio performance, something.......... One version of the song is bad enough!

Yes, I ordered a box set from Oasisnet when it was announced, but I didn't expect that I would get today as DM box set came quite later. When you do get it, you're gonna fucking love it! Been listening to only Disc 3 since it arrived this morning.

I don't want to scare anyone but I'm starting to like the "useless boring instrumental" quite a lot. It's so...relaxing

Fade In-Out sounds good with the remaster, instruments sound a lot clearer imo

My sister gave me a $50 gift card for Amazon for my birthday. So I'm going to buy it officially from Amazon, which means I have to wait a week. No bother, as I have the leak copy, but I want the official booklet god damn it. And Happy Birthday to me, yer twats.

Note to self. Never try and import double/triple+ albums into iTunes ever again. Apparently Oasis and Oasis are two different names, as are Be Here Now and Be Here Now. Sorted out the problem by replacing Oasis with Oasis about 20 times and Be Here Now with Be Here Now about 20 times until it listed all 3 discs as one album. Can't remember how but there's tick box somewhere to say an album is multi disc so you can say CD1 of 3, CD2 of 3 etc

Thoughts on the Mustique Demos:
Generally, the tracks are way more polished then I was expecting. Sure, Liam's vocals could help some of the more "rocking" songs (for example...MBM, IHITIK, IGBM), but Noel does an admirable job here. These tunes come off as more jubilant and happy than the album cuts which often feel weighed down by the over-production. The tunes are allowed to breath more. The overall rough nature of the recordings I find VERY appealing.
If these were a steak, then it's done medium (which is how steak should be), the final album is well-done (and no one wants to eat charred rubber).
It's easy to see why Noel doesn't like this album. The potential that is found in these demos really brings out how bad the final album cuts became.
• DYKWIM?... is on another level here. Fantastical, brilliant. The psychedelia is glorious. • MBM... has a better groove here than the album cut. • MSL... the 80's drum loop is quite fun, still has a crap chorus. • SBM... the softer production works wonders on this tune. • IHITIK... solid tune this one. Not much stood out though. • TGITDS... this is more what I expected from these demos overall. A very rough cut here. • DGA... Less is more on this one. The over produced version on the album now pisses me off. • TI (BHN)... this version comes off more fun and uplifting to me. • FIO... the more acoustic approach here works really well. I always liked Noel's version from the tour. • SY... very subtle differences. Decent tune, nothing great though. • AC... been there, done that. • TF... a pleasant surprise. Fun rocker, but kind of a throw away to be fair. • AATW... I can see why the band was keen on playing this one earlier. Solid. • IGBM... Might be the best song of the lot, and this demo nails it.
I love 'em. I'm glad we have them. And I don't care what Noel, or anyone else for that matter, says, Be Here Now is classic to me. Thanks fellas for the memories and the tunes!

I'm a bit confused. That remastered spotify link carlober sent me allows me to listen to 8 "remastered" tracks already. But I'm not sure if they're actually remastered and why only 8/12 are available to listen.

Anyone got a high quality transfer of the Be Here Now artwork? I've just downloaded the vinyl rip, and the cover for that is a shambles - the black border fucking huge, and the resolution is so low you can't even make out the number plate on the Rolls!
Thanks.

Segue between All Around the World and It's Gettin' Better (Man!!!) sounds different on the remaster Definitely sounds better. Both have cleaner outros, It's Gettin' Better (Man!!) has an cleaner intro too. The guitars at the beginning of I Hope, I Think, I Know sound better, sounds like a couple guitar tracks were removed. Love the Fade In-Out remaster. Oh and that Noel interview was pretty rubbish. It was like an amalgamation of everything he's said about BHN in the last 20 years with nothing new to say. I was hoping they'd do a track by track thing.

If it is, then you're listening to the remastered version.
