Choose your 3 favourites from the 94-96 years. Simple as that!

It was very hard but my 3 (at the moment) were Some Might Say, Whatever, and Shakermaker (I have a real soft spot for this one)

The Some Might Say single was truly a power house in great music making. Oasis at their absolute peak. - Some Might Say - Talk Tonight - Acquiesce - Headshrinker

Roll With It or Some Might Say..
SMS has better b sides but I like RWI more as a song, if you count whatever as a MG era song, then definitely Whatever

C&A / Whatever / SMS
6 months of absolute perfection from Oasis here.
Not a duff song on any of these singles.

I assume this means, inc B-sides??
The reason I'm not sure is the lack of votes for Cigs and Alcohol which as a stand alone song I can understand but the b-sides are almost flawless which therefore makes the single better than say Supersonic for me

Arguably worse i would say than many other pre DM tunes like see the sun / strange thing I love take me away though!

When you take the strength of B-sides into account, as other people have already identified, the only correct answer to this question is Cigarettes & Alcohol, Whatever, and Some Might Say.
The quality of songs on those singles is just unreal. The fact that those three singles and B-sides were released back to back to back says something about how on-fire the band was at the time.

If we are including them as a whole, like as EPs which is basically what they were, it's a toss up between Cigarettes & Alcohol and Some Might Say. Some Might Say being all originals probably swings it.

Unbelievable really. Any 4 of those songs would most likely be a lead singles or album highlights for pretty much any rock band nowdays. Acquiesce imo is the best Rock (or pop..whatever....guitar band type genre) song in the last 25 or so years for me! Oh and Supersonic Whatever Some Might Say

If it's purely about the A-sides, then Supersonic, Live Forever and Champagne Supernova. Although I'd consider 1997 part of the glory years and have D'You Know What I Mean over Champagne Supernova.
Taking the entire single into account, then Cigarettes & Alcohol, Whatever and Some Might Say are easily the top 3 for me.

When I made this topic, I wasn't actually thinking about bsides at all. But seeing as you all seem to be, let's go with that.
