imo there aren't too many Liam sung songs where Noel sounds better but I prefer his version of fade away.
Better: Fade away
Comes close: His version of who feels love also sounds really good (not as good as the album version though). Gas panic is nb either. Heard him singing supersonic a few years ago too (with nghfb) that was good too.
Ruins:
He used to sound good on wonderwall, now I can't listen to the ryan adams one anymore, same goes for scyho.

It's about equal between him and Liam on Fade Away. I can't stand his versions of Live Forever though.

Better? Hard for me to say. But different is what it is, a very different interpretation of the same song. for instance, Noel's Slide away versus Liam's, Noel's Fade In/Out versus Liam's, Married With Children, etc.

Him and Bonehead did a cracking Live Forever at the Royal Albert Hall in 1994! As did Liam and Bonehead last year. You're right, great version - but Liam's voice is made for that song.

Songs like Supersonic, Bring it on Down, Cigarettes and Alcohol and Supersonic will always suit Liam more than Noel IMO.

Totally agree about Fade Away. I think the Warchild version is much better than the rowdy rock version anyway. I wouldn't say his version of Supersonic is better, but it's definitely almost as good. It also depends, as well, because he plays it solo acoustic for now which works better with his vocals Gotta give props to his vocals on the WFL demo as well. Good job on that one However,I think Liam should've sung Lord Don't Slow Me Down. Too many Noel sung songs in the DBTT era. Liam needed a good belter

Close: - Slide Away - D'you Know What I Mean? - Morning Glory
Ruins: - (It's good) To Be Free - Listen Up - Supersonic - Wonderwall (the slower version)

Supersonic and Wonderwall he absolutely butchers compared to the Liam versions imo, especially that Ryan Adams version of Wonderwall. To be honest I don't really prefer any of Noel's versions over ones Liam's done but I really like Listen Up, Don't Go Away and Slide Away (but still prefer Liam versions)

I think he's a really bad singer, never sound like he's in control of his voice and when he belts it out for the high bits he sounds like an unknotted balloon.

These days he sounds better on pretty much anything but the rockier ones but his acoustic versions are great. I do prefer his version of Wonderwall too.
I've always preferred the UNKLE version of Cast No Shadow with Noel singing to the original Morning Glory one but I think I'm alone with that view.

The Liam vocal on Fade Away is so much better than Noel's it isn't even funny

That Cast No Shadow version is fantastic, but the harmonies between Liam and Noels voices really make the song special, at least for me, so I still prefer the original one
