One of my favourite bands the Buzzcocks are working on a new album but they are doing it differently this time. They are using a service that gets fans to contribute varying amounts to finance the recording in exchange for a range of exciting 'thank yous', ranging from a simple album download at $10 to meet and greets and winning guitars. Here's an article that explains it more: louderthanwar.com/nostalgia-for-an-age-yet-to-come/(personally, I'm pretty excited. Their last new album 'Flat Pack Philosophy' came out back in 2006 so its been a while! Listen to the whole thing here: So my questions are: 1) what do you think of this? and 2) if Oasis/BE/HFB were to do it, what big prizes would you want to see?
