What do you all think of this track?
I think it's vastly underrated.
It has good lyrics that fit with the DOYS vibe. Good atmosphere to it, good drum beat. Liam's vocals are a bit messy, but the general effect enhances the song - gives it a bit of depth.
Now, it's not a perfect song. Average, to be sure.
I love the euphoric "Dig Out Your Souuuuuuul, cos here we go. We gotta move, it's what we do" part.
If guitars were added (and the album version was how they performed it live) or if was done in the way the remix was done, it would have been perfect and a very very good song.
Oasis' obvious imperfections annoy the fuck out of me sometimes.

I don't listen to the album version, but the Richard Fearless remix. Has better groove and strike, and it fits well as background music when boozing with friends, party and all that.

The live version and the Richard Fearless remix are so much better than the album version.

I've always thought this song got a bad rap. It's not the best song but it's a good song. I really love the live versions though the album version is also pretty good. Totally agree with your review Beady’s Here Now.

Best song on DOYS for me. Great vocal, trippy vibe. Love it.

I don't like the songs so much, but it's surely better than TNOR,GOYHHL or AGN...like I said in another thread it sounds a bit like Son of a gun by La's

I'm not a fan of the album version (I'm not a fan of the whole album either), but the live version is brilliant.

I reckon it's their best live song since Gas Panic. The album track is a bit of a let down in comparison.

I think I'm the only person who prefers the album version to the Richard Fearless remix. Live it is also awesome.

I absolutely love this song. Legit, one of my favourite late era Oasis tunes.
I never paid much attention to the remix until I read you geezers saying its better...not sure if it is better but that's special as well
I can't understand why people hate on this.

They nailed it live. It was like a trippy latter-day version of Columbia to me. But I always thought it was Gem's best ever song related to Oasis including Beady Eye songs. The album version is a little lacking compared to other versions (Sardy's doing) but its a cracker

The album version is a little lacking compared to other versions (Sardy's doing) but its a cracker I wish the jam session was on the album version, too. Noel could have very easily made this their "This is the Resurrection." I really don't understand how Noel didn't see all the obvious flaws and potentials that we all clearly see.
