Having seen Beady Eye 6 times and 3 times on this tour already I can safely say the glastonbury performance was the best I've seen them yet. The volume was turned up very loud and Flick of the Finger inparticular sounded epic. Not sure how it came across on tv but Liam's vocals were spot on and he nailed the whole gig. He was truely on form and looked the part and I'm sure Beady Eye convinced many people in the crowd how good Beady Eye reAlly are.
It was a surreal seeing them at 11:30 in the morning and was rock n roll at its best.

11 30 in the morning? When was that? yesterday? That would mean two gigs in one day?

ON one of the MTV channels in the UK at the 4pm music news round up they showed some footage of Glasto.
They started by saying Beady Eye played a morning slot and showed a few seconds footage.
No audio as the Presenter was talking over it, they showed Arctic's, Stones, Bugg as well.

They're going to have to make an intensive tour to try to sell this record. The only way Liam's voice could hold up is if he stopped smoking and drinking, and totally rested between gigs. Liam is a party animal and will never take advice like this. I doubt they will be able to record another disc because no record company will touch them.

Sorry to rain on the parade here, but I was at Glastonbury, and apart from Second Bite of the Apple (great version) and Rock 'N Roll Star (ok), liam was AWFUL. Worst I've ever heard him when I've seen him live. Properly flat and out of tune, people around me thought it was painful.

Where was the effin' herbal tea you meant to send him then! Actions, not words. I'm tired of words, dude.

I don't know, man. From the two Youtube videos I saw it sounds par for the course. I just wonder if we'll ever hear this again:
I live my life for the stars that shine
instead of...
AH LI MA LAHHH FAH THE STA THA SHA

a great little clip of Morning Glory Really isn't that bad at all. You want bad? Go back to 2005/2006 for some of his worst performances ever (although, he did ok too during the DBTT tour as well). Liam's voice is a puzzle. I/We can't exactly figure out his fluctuating quality. That crowd is fucking pathetic, though. They are making American crowds look good. Jesus.

What brand are Liam's sunglasses here? They look like the same ones he wore for Glasto '94, but not quite:
