I picked up on this vibe on that XFM interview also. He seems to not be confident about this album.
I don't know why?!
He is & should always be a Rock N Roll star!
Then again. The Sun info = Pinch Of Salt.

In this regard, I'm glad that I'm not from Hastings.

I really hope this is another false story by The Sun. For some reason I love listening to Liam's voice. Even songs like Second Bite Of The Apple which I'm not too keen on, I'd prefer to hear over most other new music that's come out recently. Lets just hope BE is a success, which I have a feeling it will be.

They have taken this from the Q interview. In the next line he says that if it flops he might phone Noel then belly laughed....wouldn't take it too serious to be honest.

The Sun is as reliable as Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli............... without acid.

Yeah I agree, same old they twist stories to get a story! Its Liam Gallagher, I think if the album doesnt do well which based on the tunes so far I see as highly unlikly, he will prob just keep drinking making music and being the best frontman of all time.

if it fails critically AND in forms of sells then there's probably no need to do another album anyway. you should leave before it gets embarrassing

Come on man this gets filed where I file every Liam quote ....... I love the cat love Noel as well. But Liam is the master of talking nonsense especially before the release of singles and lps don't care who picks up the story , don't care if the fucking times broke the story ..... Liam loves the limelight , the press the fame way too much THANK GOD to ever fade away , he may go another direction , truly solo , try again with bdi , or do something he won't fuck off to oblivion not in his DNA man , he can talk nonsense all he likes in two three years there will,be another Liam project bdi or otherwise .... Think you know the project I want

It won't fail critically, judging by the reviews we've read so far of the single. I think the reason Liam's voice is dry is cos they couldn't afford any reverb having blown their budget paying off the reviewers.

I hope he's NOT joking. It's better to hang it up and gracefully exit the party than to overstay your welcome. He had a good run, tons of classic songs synonymous with his voice, now both the songs and the voice are a shell of their former selves.
Seeing Liam trying to craft music in Beady Eye is equivalent to watching Michael Jordan play basketball on the Washington Wizards.
Twenty years from now, I don't want to be telling my kids how great Liam was and then how horrible he became after oasis with a plethora of shit albums to his name - two is enough Liam.

You know it's funny ... Those are two great points about telling your kids man .... Ill never bash either whether i love the new shit or not that either puts out .. But your right about the telling your kids my nephew asks me about mj. Cause he only remembers the wizards and I tell him watch espn classic and you'll understand As far as Liam or Noel same thing if they want to keep making music that I don't love or like the way i I loved oasis FairPlay anyone I hang with or NEICE or nephews ( dont want kids couldnt handle a replica of me ) ill just play my oasis CDs. And say this is what they were in their prime . After all isn't that we do now with the Rolling Stones ? Surely nobody I know will introduce any of there modern era stuff to a newbie ( a blood relative especially ) but we will turn them on to the 60 s and 70 s ..... So that's how I will handle Liam's voice or Noel's writing . Jmo

You've heard the new album? About 25% of it if you include DOSS/Start Anew. And by all indication, these are supposed to be 3 of the best songs on the album, so if they've left a lot to be desired, it's fair to assume the rest of the album won't be that good innit.

Dreaming of Some Space isn't on the album buddy boy, and we haven't technically heard the full version of Start Anew yet, so you should wait until you hear the album to criticize it. Or better yet, not get on the forum and not express your opinion, that would be a lot better.
