That's a good final four, wouldn't call Alex Turner an "icon" but he is undoubtedly a talented lad.I'm betting a lot of 20 odd year old girls voted for him... I'd vote for either Lennon or Liam because in my opinion Bowie is more famous for his image in the 70's than his songs with the exception of stuff like life on mars? and starman. Lennon was probably the most popular Beatle which are the biggest band of all time. Liam is one of (if not the best) frontmen of all time

Lennon and Bowie are both amazing
But for the NME icon it can't be anyone but Liam. There is no single frontman more iconic of the NME.
Alex Turner should be honored to be amongst those names. One of those 'nice to even be considered' kind of things.
