Of that list, most are realistic contenders. You can say "Alright, I see how that was chosen". But a few of them...
...Baby One More Time - Britney Spears Can't Get You Out Of My Head - Kylie Minogue Someone Like You - Adele
Are just puzzling. Ok I get that Adele is good, talented etc but that song came out last week! How can it be the best of the last 60 years? Then you've got Britney Spears in there and a song that has 4 mins of "nanananananananana cant you get out of my head". What has civilization come to?

Give it a few years and Someone Like You would be nowhere near the top 10 - Adele is just in that because of the hype. There's an obsession with Kylie and Britney in this country, but be thankful it's just these are the only questionable selections.
The fact that Don't Look Back In Anger is in the top ten, despite being 17 years old, just proves what a timeless tune it is. Most probably there due to it's lung bursting euphoric chorus - seriously, I don't know a tune with a stronger chorus than DLBIA. Anyway, keep voting, would love to see it right up at the top!

Already voted, can't see it being near number 1 though... probably Adele or Kylie Fucking Minogue. The retard rate in this country of late has risen.

4th is really good, considering the amount of shite that was in that programme plus the shite contributors (all cheesy pop crap promoters). By all accounts, it came third because Adele is only there because of the current hype - that song will be nowhere near the '10 best' in a few years time.

Adel will be forgotten in 20yrs........she will be like Alison moyet good singer couple good songs that's it hahahah that's abit harsh aint it? She is very Talented. As regards to Someone Like You well, I think You're right it wont have the staying Power of Don't Look Back In Anger. To be honest it should have Won as Good as Bohemian Rhapsody(is that right?)is. Someone made a comment I have to applaud about Don't Look Back In Anger is 17 Years Old and STILL ranks among the shite today. These days getting single chart Success means fuck all. Album Chart Success? now You're talking that is still a Big thing and is still taken very seriously hence Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds did well. With the Album Chart the REAL Music Connoisseurs appear Read more: live4ever.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=news&thread=73416&page=1#ixzz20qgEc8qY

4th is excellent considering
a) The general public are idiots
b) Only the absolute die hards and/or complete halfwits tend to vote in these polls
Agree with the comment above though, I'm not a massive fan of DLBIA but pleased it did well
