if they ever do get themselves into The Simpsons, that will definitively confirm the argument of whether Oasis have made it in the US or not

lol i can imagine that they'd get totally slated on the simpsons if they do appear... but reckon it would be dead funny and ironical as always i'd imagine

There are SO many beatles references in the Simpsons. The Simpsons turned shit though.

I do remember Oasis being mentioned on the TV series Clueless (spin-off from the film) about 10 years ago. They were going to a gig and were saying how cute they were and how good the songs were.
Not quite the same though, eh?

And the oc's had two oasis songs on, albeit covers by ryan adams and some crap indie band.

That Champagne Supernova cover on the OC was quite possibly the worst thing i've ever heard in my entire life!

There are SO many beatles references in the Simpsons. The Simpsons turned shit though. Don't be ridiculous. The Simpsons is still by far the cleverest and most consistent comedy in TV history (except possibly "curb your enthusiasm" and "seinfeld). Anyone see the episode where they went to a theme park, with an "Enron" ride. "Mmmnn that's good satire!"

I'm probably the biggest Simpson nerd here and they have never mentioned the band. The Simpsons turned shit though. In my opinin seasons 11 & 12 aren't as bad as everyone makes out. It did turn pretty bad around season 14 but 15 was good and 16 is not far behind seasons 2-9.

GREATEST FUCKIN' SHOW EVER! I DON'T GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAYS, I WATCH THE SIMPSONS, AND IF I MISS 'EM I GOTTA DO MY PENANCE (LOL ,OR DON'T - I DON'T CARE)! HOMER is GOD-LIKE!!! Homer: "Lisa, who's yer favorite Traveling Wilbury? Is it Jeff Lynne? FUCKIN' CLASSIC MAN, SIMPLY CLASSIC! Oh yeah, Oasis in a Simpson episode, I can see it now! Liam in Moes gettin smashed with Homer, Homer agreeing with everything he says whether or not he can even understand him, Noel having to come and drag Liam out, and Marge hittin' on Zak (she's got a thing for Ringo)!

Have you seen the simpson's episode where bart and his friends join up to make a boy band? They have that machine that makes their singing sound great... we could use one of those right now, huh? Someone tell Liam to give the Navy a call (you'd understand that if you had seen the episode)
