interesting, looks like the AA album will be 13 songs, 3 from the High Flying Birds album (although vastly different, re-recorded versions) and 10 original songs with the songs flowing into each other like the Dark Side of the Moon album. Just gonna be psychedelic rock, not an electronic project.....soooo pumped to hear this album as well. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

So originally didn't we hear 18 songs had been included on the AA album?
i guess he's saving a few for b-sides/bonus tracks etc. He seems to be spitting out tunes all over the show at the minute

Good interview.
Noel is such a strange guy though. He says things that contradict all the time. Also, he should stop being so unexcited about this. It's as if he's about to get a depression from doing the solo album he's been moaning about for years. Seriously.

I'm guessing he's just being utterly honest with us. Honestly his lack of excitement won't change when the album hasn't been released and he hasn't done a gig yet.

Good interview. Noel is such a strange guy though. He says things that contradict all the time. Also, he should stop being so unexcited about this. It's as if he's about to get a depression from doing the solo album he's been moaning about for years. Seriously. I like that he's been shy and coy, and also unexcited. It's refreshing not hear him go on about being the greatest thing in the world, and I'm going to kill this, and smash it, and I'm gonna be mega. Or I don't need Liam, I can do this thing on my own. I think the fact that he hasn't been like, "Yeah, I'm good. Leaving Oasis wasn't a big thing. This solo album is going to be good, and I'm going to be great live", shows respect toward Liam. That Noel finds Liam so formidable, that he's weary of being in the slightest way happy, that he's out of Oasis. I think he should hold his cards close to his vest. I think he should temper expectations. Because in the end, we're all expecting great things from Noel and the album and the live shows. I don't think any of us need Noel to be full of himself, or complimentary of himself for any of us to enjoy it more. So what he's moaning on and on? What does it matter to you? It's not your solo record, or tour. If he feels bemused or melancholic about a solo album, or he's just trying to temper expectations, then okay. That's his choice and frankly it doesn't matter.
