You know the score you buy an album because you like a song....to find out the rest of the songs are shit!
Lenny Craphits - are you gonna go my way!

I actually paid some hard won cash for a pathetic Jimi Hendrix live CD, a barely recorded performance at a club in which Jim Morrison guested on vocals for a few tracks. The sound was worse than the average bootleg, and the "songs" were unrecognizable, long, meandering and excruciatingly boring stoned jams.
The only piece of (mild) entertainment arrived when a completely hammered Morrison arrived and added some of his poetic lyrics, likely a work in progress, but nonetheless exciting and a charming little ditty provisionally titled "Fuck Her In The Ass!!!" resulted .
Makes 'ride the snake... to the lake' sound like Shakespeare.

I own the Led Zeppelin boxed set - the one with all their full-length albums. So by default, I would have to say "Presence." At least that's the first one that comes to mind because I still own it.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West. ouch This album has one of the biggest love/hate divides in history. I reckon it's fantastic and a landmark for the genre.

Wings Wild Life Mary Had A Little Lamb  WHY PAUL WHY? !?! Not a good album overall, but at least you get the amazing "Oh Woman Oh Why" as a bonus track...one of his best B-sides.

But unfortunately, one good song doesn't make that shitfest of an album any better. AND (had I been old enough back in the day) I could've just foregone buying the (shitty) album and just bought the single instead ;D

U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
The single worst 'first listen' experience I've ever had in my life. Cheesy drivel.

Maybe if you just waited until you were older and purchased the download? ;D
