MK Oasis proudly presents.... the first draft of TDOYAM chords. Try it out, see what you think. Let's make this 100% correct.
Capo #4
Intro: Em9 Em7 B7 , then Am C
Em B7 High tide, summer in the city the kids are looking pretty Am C but isnt it a pity that the Em B7 sunshine is followed thunder the thoughts of going under and is it any wonder why the
G Sea, is calling out to B7 Me, and i seem to spend my Em Em7* whole life C running from people who can G Be, the death of B7 you and me, cos i can feel the Em Em7* storm clouds C Cmaj7 (?) sucking up my soul
(next verse, same verse chord pattern, obviously) High tide Life is getting faster No one has the answer Trying to face the day In a new way From the bottom of a bottle Cos every man's a puzzle Let's run away together you and...
G Me B7 Forever we'll be free, free to spend our Em Em7* whole lives running C from people who would G Be, the death of you and B7 Me, cos i can feel the Em Em7* storm clouds C sucking up my soul
and so on...
outro brass is Em B7 (x2) Am B7 pattern again
Em9 = 022002 Em7 = 022030 Em7* = 020000 B7 = x21200

Thanks so much, great work! I had a rough go at the horn solo;
Transcribed for w/o a capo, so 12 becomes 8 with capo 4
e -12-11-9--9- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - B - - - - - -11--8--11-8- - - - -8-11-8 - - - - - - - - - - G - - - - - - - - - - - - - -11-9-9- - - - - 9 - - - - - - - - -
e -12-12-12-12- 11-9--9- - - - - - - - - - - -9 - - - - - - - - - - 11- - B - - - - - - - - - -11--8--11-8 - - 8-11- -11-11-12-13 - -13 -
Something like that anyway...

This is my take on the beginning bit (first post also, hello all!):
Capo on 4:
e-2-3-2-0---0----0---------- B-0-0-0-0-0-3-4-5---------- G-0-------------------4/3/2-0
Or something like that.
Also, in the verses and such, instead of Am to B7 I think it's Am to C.

Actually I think that he tuned the guitar half a note down.
C Sea, is calling out to E7 Me, and i seem to spend my Am Am/G whole life F running from people who can C Be, the death of E7 you and me, cos i can feel the Am Am/G storm clouds Am/F# F sucking up my soul
Try it this way, sounds better IMO.

In that second verse, I think he sings:
'From bottom of a bottle Everyman's a puzzle'
Peace.

G-0--------------- D-2------0-------- A-2-0^2---2^1^0- E0----------------
sounds like the fiddly bit when the rythym starts

Nice job, this is correct. By the way the riff in the beggining is like this:
e_2 ____3_2_______0___________ B__0______0 ___3s4__0_________ <- Capo 4th Fret, always. G___0 _____0_________ 4p3_3p2_2
On the 4p3 3 3p2 bit you can do a slide and it's almost the same thing: 4s3 3s2 2
Transcribed it from here:
Great tutorial as well.
Also remember that Noel usually plays a C/G (332010) when it's supposed to be a normal C.
