I haven't had a computer in over a year and I'm getting back in the game and moving all of my old music to my new computer and then I realized I don't have any f'ing clue on what the best media players are these days....and I don't use iTunes or buy their mp3s (Amazon guy, if I do buy something that is worth money).... so any suggestions??? Thank you!

I think winamp is the best for audio files, but VLC is the easiest to use plus it has a better codec (or at least, it seems to have a better one than the others)

For just all around file support and ease of use, definitely use VLC. I recommend mediamonkey if you're a hardcore music fan though.
