I was trying to convert a vid from youtube to mp4 the other day but for some reason it wouldn't convert,is there a way that an uploader can stop a video from being converted? if so how? because i'd like to know.

Some formats just can't be converted, I don't know why. Some of them can be converted if you (for example) convert them first to avi. then to mp4 or so.

Ok but is there a way for you to upload a video to youtube without other people being able to convert them to mp4,well in other words for you to upload & video so no one else can save & convert it?

I'm sure in the video settings on youtube you can choose that your video is not available to download... and not accessible on mobile devices and other options....
