The people who like this piece of shit are the same ones who don't understand why Shakermaker is so fucking great. And again.

wow i'm really disappointed. Somewhere Noel Gallagher is laughing his ass off. Considering that its their released song, it's pretty awful. I'll be interested to hear Noels views. If he completely slates it and laughs about it then i cant see Oasis re-forming any time. If hes actually a bit complimentary then its like he wants to keep peace in case of anything in the future. I'm listening to it again, some bits arent bad but that first main guitar sounds like Hank frickin Marvin. I just hope this is a 'meaning of soul' type filler track. Again the 20 second clip of that other song does sound great. So i'm hanging on to hope a bit with that one Oasis sounding like the Beatles i love, but any 50's sounding type of song i cant stand whoevers singing it.

After 2 listens! I love it! This tune will be a commercial success. Definitely a club track. Works for me. Have you ever been to a club? I actually can imagine this in a club. Depends on what kind of club you would go to of course

Nice to see Andy Bell's much anticipated return to guitar sonic experimentation.
Hmmm. Nice one.

i wasn't expecting oasis... i was expecting a great track, not a 'well, it might grow on me' ....
i wasn't looking for a grower, i was looking for an UNDENIABLY great tune. this isn't it.
not a bad track ,but can anyone honestly say with a straight face that they aren't the least bit disappointed?

I think this song is genious! A very upbeat and happy tune, which was very much what Oasis was about. You can't really compare this to Oasis, but it does have a lot happening in it. Which is something I think Oasis lacked in the later stage of their carreer. And I'm a huge fan of Elvis as well, so I fucking love this tune!!

Imagine they released get of your high horse lady as a free track.. don't judge a album by one free song. And I don't think it's that bad..

this song makes little james sound good!! Do you work for the marketing group for Beady Eye or something ? New user, all your posts are totally positive regarding this song. Think Little James is better than this debut

Like I said in the other thread, it's better than I expected. Very 60s and simple. It's good that those 4 lads are trying to do something new.

Yeah good point, i hate that song so if i heard that i would have thought Oasis had lost it. I'm hanging onto hope about that 20 second clip on the website, i just hope this is one of the poor tracks of the album. I have faith (just !)

After 2 listens! I love it! This tune will be a commercial success. Definitely a club track. Works for me. A club track where the clubbers are all over eighty, incontinent and on the deaf aids with BDI's vinyl recoird spinning on a gramophone, reminding them of a golden era past...

Pros: Very new sound for this group, they're not trying to be oasis without Noel. Production is great. Liam sounds great. Attitude. There's something cool to me that this doesn't sound 60s inspired but like it is from the 60s. cons: Lyrics are amateurish. Melodically it's a bit one note. I think if it had a Record Machine type payoff at the end this song would be incredible.
This song is very interesting and very unsatisfying.

I actually can imagine this in a club. Depends on what kind of club you would go to of course I think what you're reffering to is an elderly party with free chardonnays. No one of those clubs where the people go that aren't interested in listening to Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas for the whole night

You'll be calling someone a 'joey' next But lets put it into perspective, the people slating it as the worst thing ever (How about 'She is love' ?) are going OTT, but at the same time the people praising it as a brilliant record are also totally going over the top
