Okay here's my question. If you could pick one artist that Noel should produce, who would/should it be?
The reason I ask this is because Noel says he wants to stay home. We all know that Noel is a capable producer and many big name artist have asked Noel to produce their albums/songs. (and of course he turned them down) Well if Noel wants to stay home, but still do some music stuff, then he should think about producing somone.
I'm not saying he will produce someone, but rather who should he produce if he ever got the opportunity. So, who should he produce?
note: my personal choice would be The Killers. Flowers has said that he is a big Oasis fan & I think it would be an interesting combo. I'm trying to stay from an obvious person like Weller.

Killers would be really interesting. Ashcroft would be nice. Kasabian would be the most likely and I think that could actually work out really well. I think he could make Kasabian sound even huger. The Coral
just anything besides the Oasis wannabe bands like the enemy, courtneers, ect

Personally I think that maybe Noel should finally do something with Sour Mash again.
Since he's just lazing about town...there are tons of aspiring bands out there. And Noel likes going to gigs. He should scope out a band sign them and work with them.
Noel seems to think back fondly on the days that Oasis were struggling. Maybe spending some time with a band living with the uncertainly that Noel hasn't had to deal with in a decade and a half will knock some of those notion of the romanticized good ol' days out of his head.

I'd also say Richard Ashcroft. I can't really imagine The Killers though. That just doesn't fit imho.

As far away as possible from Beady Eye. Seriously, I reckon he would do a good job with Twisted Wheel.

Noel has already 'helped in the recording' for The Killers on Sam's Town.

Noel giving a few encouraging words to a young band is hardly the same as helping them record with them. Don't think that you can really say that Noel has worker with The Killers, in any respect, based off this story. And, considering how little I liked Sam's Town, I am glad that Noel had nothing directly to do with it. I assume that you weren't actually using this as an arguement against Noel working with The Killers in future. So I suppose this whole line of discussion is just white noise.

Yeah I know but he wanted to know something about Noel/The Killers and I bought that article(that dosnt says a lot of the topic we want to know). Noel should help Richard Ashcroft his last record besides 3 or 4 tracks was unenjoyable

To be honest, I don't see Noel as a producer.

To be honest, I don't see Noel as a producer. You never know. Has Noel ever produced anything other than Oasis? I sometimes think that he was too close to the music in Oasis...and he didn't have proper perspective to make the best decisions. But maybe if you took away that connection with the music, along with that sense of entitlement and the strain of being the utimate decision-makers, he might actually fair better. I still don't want him to do a record with an established act...I want him too find an unknown.
