That's what I love about this band, they're constantly active either touring or recording. Too bad Oasis was never as ambitious as Coldplay.

^^^^ Between 2000 and 2008 both bands released 4 albums. 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008. And Oasis was the older band...

As hard as it is to admit though (this my own personal thoughts), Coldplay's output has been far superior (with the exception of X&Y personally) and they've been different aswell. That's the thing that pissed me off with Dig Out Your Soul - sure it's a good solid album with some absolutely fantastic standout tracks, but I was wanting orchestras and choirs - the kitchen sink basically, and what I got was just the same old guitars, bass and drums.

Bring it! Viva La Vida was kind of hit or miss, but it showed potential. ^^^^ Between 2000 and 2008 both bands released 4 albums. 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008. And Oasis was the older band... Different strokes for different folks, but having an arkestra and a choir wouldn't be that different from what we've had before.

I think on DOYS the band was kind of training to make a kitchen sink album and the next one would be finally this.

I would ask where SupersonicTrain is, but he's probably dealing with his hardon after reading this thread

Sorry mate, there's nobody called Supersonic Train here. There's a good chance he was referring to me, but I didn't want to make that assumption. After all, I'd hate to appear ego-centric. That, and I was busy, if you know what I mean.
