It' probably been done before, but these threads are interesting, and we I haven't seen one for ages.
So, now's the better time to ask this question with Noels TCT gigs coming up: what Oasis tunes would you like to hear acoustic?
It's one of the most exciting things about these concerts in my opinion. Will he drag some old tunes out of the bag, and give them a semi acoustic treatment? Listen Up is really a golden example of this I recon. I really got into Listen Up because of the semi acoustic versions Noel did in '06 - '07, with the best version being the Dreams We Had As Children version.
Obviousley I'd like to see a lot of tunes acoustifed, but I think these would be very interesting to hear:
Mucky Fingers: I think the studio and live versions are really cool, but I'd love to hear a slower semi acoustic version of this one. Maybe even tune it down a little to like Noel did with Stop The Clocks from the soundcheck in Hong Kong back on the Dig Out Your Soul tour. Allows for more emotional vocals.
Magic Pie: It's my least favorite tune on Be Here Now. But since that album is my favorite album, I think it's a pretty damn good tune. Make this tune important again, and play it on the forthcoming concerts!
Champagne Supernova: It's a pity this has never been performed acoustically before. I think Noel would do an amazing job on this, and would also be a great way to prove he could do the tunes as good as Liam.
Roll It Over: One of my favorites from Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants. I actually like the demo version of this brilliant tune better than the studio version. But just barely! Would sound amazing backed up with strings and a soaring electric guitar! A crime that this haven't been performed live in concerts before!

D'ya Know What I Mean? would be cool. I never really cared much for the song until I heard this awesome version by Noel from some acoustic session, or whatever you call them. Morning Glory or Up In The Sky would be great. Just because they are personal favourites, and haven't been done since like 1996. I'm interested to see if he pulls something out of the bag with his cover. I so wasn't expecting him to start doing There Is A Light That Never Goes Out. I was a very happy bunny.

I would really like Noel to play these at TCT (assuming he plays acoustically like the last time)
Falling Down: I think this would sound really cool acoustically! Very Atmospheric!!
Gas Panic! I believe Noel's played it acoustically before...would be really cool!
also: The Turning??, Magic Pie, Live Forever....those would all be great...

The Turning Bag It Up and to tell you the truth ive always wanted to hear how Noel could handle Cigarettes and Alcohol. I know it would be as good as Liam's but im still curious.

Been done acoustically before. Well, yeah it has. But I think that version is to "hard", in lack of a better word. I think Magic Pie has a chance to be miles better than the album version and all the live versions out there if he gives it the same treatment as he did with say Don't Look Back In Anger and Wonderwall. Slower, stripped down, and softer vocals.

also i would like to hear a softer, stripped down version of the masterplan Check out this version from Fukoka, Japan in 2002: One of my favorite versions of The Masterplan. Definitely the most tender version of the song I've ever heard

If you pick up an acoustic guitar and learn to play you can hear all of these. Plus, many of the ones you guys are mentioning have been played acoustically. I feel bad for you if you haven't heard them.
Noel has done C&A (not acoustically). It's not good. At all.
Headshrinker is the worst suggestion out of all of these.
I'd like to hear a simple, understated, acoustic version of CS with Noel on vox. AATW would be interesting as well.

Completely agree, Nosworthy. I'd love to hear "Hey Now" done slower and acoustically. Also, "Headshrinker" is definitely not the worst suggestion; an acoustic version would change the whole feel of the song.
Here's my request: an acoustic version of "Bring It on Down." Could be really simple, stripped, and played three-chord blues style. Throw in a harmonica, too.

I would love to hear Carry Us All, Going Nowhere, The Turning, Falling Down, Rockin' Chair...lots of 'em. I'll pretty much be happy with anything new he does, though.

Also, "Headshrinker" is definitely not the worst suggestion; an acoustic version would change the whole feel of the song. Agree completely. While it is true that I'd be happy to hear any and every Oasis song done acoustically (emphasis on the 'every'), I think Headshrinker would be interesting. I've played around with it as a medium paced acoustic song with minor chords. For instance... Dm I know a girl who's lost and lonely C She sits by the phone on her own Bb But the phone don't ring and the Bb/A Bb/G Dm Birds dont sing in her tree Gm F Dm Lost in a fog, been treated like a dog and I'm outta here so on. Its fun to play around with Oasis songs, even if they dont end up working out so well

I also think that Heroes done slow and acoustically with Gem on harmonica (like Whatever this most recent tour) would be outstanding. I know a lot of you aren't crazy about that cover, but a slow stripped down version would be amazing I think.

Great idea with "Heroes." I'm not a guitar player (wish I were), but I try to play around with chords. If I were better, I'd be playing a lot of acoustic Oasis songs. "Fade Away" is a great case in point of how a song can be changed with a different approach.

Hey Now Rockin Chair
These two songs are never played so I'd be honestly interested in just hearing what they sound like. I can imagine they'd be VERY awesome live and acoustic.

Being realistic I'd love to see the tunes he was caught rehearsing:
Hey Now Supersonic Like A Rolling Stone
But if I could choose, I'd say
Champagne Supernova All Around The World Rockin' Chair Shout It Out Loud Falling Down (I love the tune, but Noel could never make justice to it singing it live...)
