I loved the "Can you See it Now" documentary that was on the lyla DVD when it was on youtube. Now it seems that it's been taken down, so I'm looking to get the DVD single somewhere. Did they release a DVD version of this in the U.S.? Or should I be looking for a U.K. copy? I'm hoping to get a u.s. region code if possible, does anyone know? thanks.

Well, all the Don't Believe The Truth singles had dvd versions of the singles to. They where a lot like the Heathen Chemistry dvd singles if you've got any of those. Lyla dvd single, had a amazing documentary as well as the song's demo. The Importance Of Being Idle single had a making of the video for the videos song, as well as a demo of the song. The Let There Be Love dvd single, had a preview (Or was that just a trailer) of the Lord Don't Slow Me Down rockumentary. And of course the song's demo. Now, for the original posters question, and I know that this is a pretty standard answer, but really, your best bet would be to check eBay regulary. I don't think there were U.S versions of the dvd singles, though I might be wrong. You can also check eil.com or GEMM.com if you don't find it at eBay. Cheers

Is this it or just a shortened version of it: That's the one. I want that documentary. Only have the one from the deluxe version of DBTT.

is that one i posted the full thing or just a shortened version of it It's not the full thing. On the deluxe version of DBTT the band talks about all the songs only, and the video you posted it's not on the deluxe version of DBTT. So if you get the two videos together, then you got the whole documentary. I think the documentary that was on the album it's called "The ear has no memory", btw..

As far as I know, DVD singles weren't released in North America...an exception may be made to promo DVDs but regular singles as it is were nonexistant years before here anyways, so I doubt they'd put out a specialty DVD single for a band that don't get much attention or promotion this side of the Atlantic.

Never realized it until now but Boy with the Blues and Stop the Clocks are being played in that documentary. I still remember all the hype for both songs like it was yesterday.

Yeah, that's what so brilliant about that documentary. They were right under our noses the entire time (Well most of it anyways). By the way, I've got this documentary both unedited, and edited versions. The edited version contains just the songs from the documentary. PM, and I'll sort you out with a link
