Yeah, Journal for Plague Lovers is the best thing they've done for years!
I listened to The Holy Bible, for the first time in a while, the other day... it's insanely good.

I've not really listened to Manic Street Preachers, so which album is the best one to start off with?

If you asked me when I joined this board if I was a fan of Buddy Holly , I am sure the answer would have been no. I listened to Oasis almost exclusively but as I dug deeper into their music and influences I discovered a lot of great artists. I think most wouldn't be surprised to see that all roads lead to Buddy Holly. He had profound influence on Dylan and the Beatles. The box set is probably only for dedicated fans but I think most on this board would appreciate a lot of the music on the Gold comp and Down The Line rarities. Not to be forgotten is the Eddie Cochran box set I picked up this year. Music as we know it would be radically different had these two pioneers lived to a ripe old age.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs should also be mentioned. Utterly fantastic album, the second half is absolutely beautiful.
