So what is it...
Album version? Demo? Chemical bros remix? Gibb Remix? Prodigy remix? Amorphous Androgenous remix? Or do you like how they do it live?
They all have their merits, but personally I like the demo best. I like how its a hypnotic cacophany with that swirling riff and muffled vocals.
I also think the piano in the Chem Bros version is fantastic. The heavy bass of the Gibb remix makes for an interesting reworking and the Prodigy version kicks up the fuzz and distortion, kind of like on the demo. I find the AA mix a bit too long for the sake of being long...having that manly soundign female singer and the creepy kid ws too much. Could have been cut in half and been twice as good I think.
Your opinions?

I'm going to reply to this thread even though you went out of your way to use the phrase "hypnotic cacophony" in your post. For me it's a no decision that the album version is the best of the bunch. I was getting into the Amorphous Androgenous remix the first time around but then they lost me with all the additional vocals, and it's just a tad long. In my view the album version of Falling down is the best Oasis track in quite a long time. One of my overall favorites of this moment.

Album version, Chemical Brothers remix and Amorphous Androgenous remix.
Falling Down is the best song Noel has written in past years, so c'mon Gallagher, don't stop create the great music of yours!

Probably have to say the album version.
It's easily one of the best Oasis songs this decade - up there with Gas Panic, Stop Crying Your Heart Out and The Importance of Being Idle, but I can't help thinking that if the album version was better produced (thanks to Sardy screwing it up) it would be undoubtedly the best.

I love the Prodigy remix of it. I LOVE it. But my favourite is the original.

The studio version is the best, but the Amorphous Androgenous remix completely blows my mind.

I dont really like the song at all. I think the song blows live because the way Noel sings it live

He should be arrested and tried for high treason!

The Demo....Love it cause it's raw & Noel sounds drunk or hung over on it.
He says sorry @ the begining, fitting for the last single I thought.

Album version, although I love the piano on the Chemical Brothers mix and wish they had incorporated that into the final version.
I think it sounds better live as well.
