They 've definitely gone off the deep end. Some songs aren't so bad, but others make you wonder 'WTF?'. And the amount of co-songwriters on this album, really. Fuck Raditude, it's all about the upcoming pinkerton reissue!

I know they're not a very serious band, but what a fucking joke. I think I'll pass.

Are all of their songs written with the American Pie soundtrack in mind?

It's a solid enough album.
Put Me Back Together is good, and Love Is the Answer is a pretty cool track
I prefer this album to Red Album. It's bolder and catchier. Weezer are a damn good band

weezer is good for what they are. Pinkerton and Maladroit are two of my favorites albums of all time. Their past two have been hit and miss but they are a good band.

I like everything up to Maladroit. The last 2 albums have been garbage. They should lay low for a bit before releasing another album. It seems like that Red album was just released last month.

Such an inoffensive, fun band.
Somehow Can't Stop Partying works when it really shouldn't. Yet another good track.

Actually, this is one of my favorite albums this year. Really really good. It's up there with their best. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raditude --> Other than Slant, early reviews are impressive

I don't know what's happened to Rivers, he used to write perfect guitar pop songs. Each album since Green Album has been a step backwards.
Red Album was... embarrasing! Raditude isn't much better.
I'm Your Daddy / Let it all Hang out have a fun Green Album vibe though.

I think everyone wants Rivers to write other emotionally deep album like Pinkerton. He isn't that type of guy anymore. He writes some of the catchiest pop/rock songs. make believe was shit. The red was decent but this one is a step above the Red album. Its far from perfect and their first four wipe the floor with it but (If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To, I'm Your Daddy, The Girl Got Hot, Let It All Hang Out are all great tunes. But Put Me Back Together and Tripping Down The Freeway are some of Rivers best stuff. Love is the Answer and Can't stop partying are awful some of the worst and cliche shit they have ever done. And I Don't Want To Let You Go hardly stands up to something like The Angel and the One.
Its not a shit album. It is pop/rock and it does sound generic at times but Rivers still proves that he can craft some of the best pop tunes. I really could careless if it had any true "emotional" depth, they've done that and they did it brilliantly but Rivers at his most natural (maybe not best) writes songs like these. Its a solid album. 7.5/10.
