So...Don't Look Back In Anger. What chord do you play for the "Take that look from off your face" line? The usual chord is that A flat diminished you could use an E7 if you wanted 020100 < like this

Can anyone tell me what G chord Noel plays on Who Feels Love? on mtv.
Sound the same as a normal open G, but he's definitely not playing that.
Have tried to work it, but with no luck.

Can anyone tell me what G chord Noel plays on Who Feels Love? on mtv. Sound the same as a normal open G, but he's definitely not playing that. Have tried to work it, but with no luck. Try these, these chords sound pretty damn good to me Double Drop D Tuning (DADGBD) G - 5x0035 Fmaj7/C - x33010 or x3x010 Am7 - x02010 Gmaj7 - x55030 or x5x030 Gmaj7/C#- x44030 or x4x030 (I should mention that I have NO IDEA if the Gmaj7 and Gamj7/C# are the right chord names. It just what I call em) Verses - G Chorus... Fmaj7/C Thank you for the sun Am7 The one that shies on everyone Gmaj7 Gmaj7/C# Who feels love Fmaj7/C Now there's a million years Am7 Between my fantasies and fears G I feel love

Odd, i dont play it like that. I do E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - B - 3-3- - 3-3- - - -3- - 3- G - 2-2-4-2-2-4 - -2- - 2-4 D - 0-0-0-0-0-0 - -0 - -0-0 A - - - - - - - - - - E - - - - - - - - - like that and repeat.. sounds spot on to me. Ye thats how Noel has always played it, dont do it the other way, youl get a much lesser quality sound.... just remember whoever tabbed it probalbly learned it by ear and not by actually watching it be played.

So...Don't Look Back In Anger. What chord do you play for the "Take that look from off your face" line? its alot easier just to play a G#m Chord, and sounds better on electric.

The funny thing about oasis songs, is that some of them are so loud that people dont even notice some of the lead guitar parts that arent considered solos or main fills, Take C&A. Listen closely and you'll hear cool riff played during the Prechorus which I have never seen someone play in a cover video.
.........The riff Noel plays on E and A string before the solo In Supersonic, Half of the lead on Rock n Roll Star, half of Liveforever,
The Intro to Acquiese on the original recording (when the drums kick in). Its funny how No one seems to pay attention to this small but effect details. Theyre all really very simple but yet most people dont notice them.
Also, the Lead Guitar on DYKWIM during the Pre chorus and chorus, In Fade away, the intro riff is continued and played in different keys throughout the song which are relative to the chords played on rythm Guitar, regardless of what all the tableture sites say, Boneheads Bankholiday is not played with Open Chords, The second guitar in Cast No Shadow, The two lead guitars being played at the beginning of Shes Electric, The Second acoustic guitar plucking a nice tune over the prechorus Of Wonderwall. An electric guitar in the background during the Chorus of Wonderwall
So many conspicuous parts of Oasis songs that people simply turn a blind eye to.

FFS check ultimate guitar about this stuff before you start asking for easy stuff like chords. If it's on UG there's no need to request here like

If it's on UG there's no need to request here like Actually, I've used UG and the chords for the part I'm asking for IS NOT THERE. THAT IS WHY I ASKED. The STC acoustic version is DIFFERENT from the album version, so this is my only source. I'm a beginner, so I wouldn't know the chords by ear, and this is the reason why this thread exists, to ask other people for help. www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/o/oasis/dont_look_back_in_anger_acustic_crd.htm

Talking to real Oasis fans is more effective than looking up a tab where someone prefaces the tab by saying something like "great 90's song".

Does anyone know the last chord for the chorus of Live Forever? (Em - D - A7 - ??) All the websites I"ve looked at list Fmaj7, but that's used for the outro. Does anyone know the correct chord?
i was also teaching myself to play those tiny fills noel plays on the acoustic version...i know the verse parts of the song have him messing around with the D chord but I'm not too sure what he does...

It is ive figured it out. Tune all your strings half step up and it sounds 100% correct.. half of definitely maybe is tuned half step up and so is dont look back in anger and a few more off morning glory.
