I'm 90% sure I'm going to at least one of those 3 gigs.
How soon do any of you think those will sell out?
GA are decent right - as long as you get there a reasonable time to get a decent spot?
Anyone have any thoughts/tips on which seats are (1) the best for the $? Or (2) where in Wembley is the best area to sit - proximity to exits, bathrooms, beer,etc...
Thanks...

There are still tickets available for all 3 x Wembley Stadium shows. Only the 1st night has GA standing available. If you want GA you will obviously be on the pitch, with an estimate of 50'000 Oasis fans. It can be pretty rough at times. Wembley is massive (bigger even than Solider Field) and to get a good vantage point when in GA you will need to get in early. The only problem with getting down the front, is that once you are there you are restricted to go anywhere. You could always hang back and stay around the mixing desk. Im in the seats on the 3rd night. I just went for the highest price section. About £65 UK pounds i think i paid. Hopefully i will be pretty close. I just fancy taking it all on for this one. Most Oasis gigs i go to i stand, so at Wembley im taking it easy. As for food and drinks. There are something like 200 bars in the Wembley Stadium complex. Can't imagine i being cheap. Best bet is to go drink beers from a 6 pack outside the stadium. It's cheaper and easier. Wembley is also a few miles out of the centre of London. It's easy to get to by the tube. Although expect big, big crowds on the day. The link below has tickets available......... www.seetickets.com/see/oasis.asp?filler1=seeGood luck

Like sword says - if you go to those gigs and you get a GA ticket, then you will be standing on the pitch (field) so you're gonna get pushed, kicked, elbowed, covered in beer and other substances and you will have no chance of getting to a bar or the bathrooms if you are right in the middle of it when most of the crowd come in - unless you want to battle your way through about 50,000 bodies ;D

Yeah, GA doesn't look appealing to me now as it would have when I was maybe 17, at some grunge show....
I'll look for a seated spot somewhere. I can't imagine not being able to move to go to the bathroom. And if some a-hole threw piss at me, I'm swingin' straight away...
Good advice.
----How long do you think these tix will last before they sell out?
I'll like to kinda watch the flight tix prices before I buy the Oasis tix.

Your best off in the seats. There will be 90'000 fans at each Wembley show, with roughly 50'000 GA. Seats should still be on sale in the early part of next year. The 1st night (Thursday) and the last night (Sunday) will probably be the last to sell. Crap days for an Oasis concert, unless you book the next day off work. Get yourself a ticket to the Sunday night. If you want cheap flights check BMI - O'Hare - Manchester. (you can easily catch a train to London from Manchester) Not sure on air fare from O'Hare - Heathrow?

That actually sounds good. We'll be visiting for about 7-10 days anyway, and I've never been to Manchester. I have been to Edinburgh, Glasgow and London.
So I guess flying into Manchester mid-week (cheaper too?), then maybe taking a train up to Scotland, and then back down in time for the gig, would work out nice.

I thought you were saying something about them being around $500...? Any tips Sword? Or anyone else? $1200 is impossible.

The first few gigs sold out in hours, the remaining is still available. I've been to several gigs at the stadium food/drinks/toilets are available in abundance so queues are at a minimal. food is about 5 or 6 quid so not too hefty. If you go GA, cups & water is available for free around the pitch side.

When i travel to Chicago i usually book around February, for a flight in August. Maybe flights are cheaper in the New Year? I usually pay around £380 UK pounds. British Airways are the most expensive at roughly £500 UK pounds. BA only flies out of London. $1200 USD is way too much. I know American Airlines fly daily to London and Manchester. You could always try them. I guess you best wait until the end of Jan or Feb when hopefully prices will have come down.
