does anyone know how well the tour is selling so far, I went on to check on ticketmaster and the oakland gig you can still get tickets pretty much anywhere, the place seems empty, does anyone know if all the gigs are like this? I hope not, I hope they sell most of the seats cause the Fucking Killers play places this big and are shit

MSG is basically sold out...they only have seats behind the stage in the upper levels at this point...The West Coast isn't being as kind to Oasis this time around. People don't want to admit it but Jet played a large role in the last tour selling so well.

People don't want to admit it but Jet played a large role in the last tour selling so well. totally. 05 sold well in the West Coast cos of Jet, I know Noel likes Ryan Adams but, quite frankly nobody in the US knows this guy. The were more "commercial" but, still cooler acts that could of been selected instead but, oh well.... Not only that, gigs in December dont do so well, people have xmas on their minds, not going to gigs. And to cap it all off, our economy SUCKS! I could of easily have ditched work today and gone up to Oakland to catch the lads there but, $$$$ talks....So Im treating myself to two gigs, L.A. and Vegas.

last night in Oakland, some lady had a sign that on one side said "Liam- tamborine please!" and he threw it to them. Other side said "Noel- guitar pick please!" Noel saw the sign, but said something like "nah, I can't give you a pick....not with the credit crunch and all. and I quite like these picks" or something...it was funny.
