Yeah. Get off on the Rosemont stop, the station between 'O'Hare' and 'Cumberland'.
I'd recommend heading over to Clueless Joe's though for some tasty pints before the gig.
Shweet.

All Chicago residents, I dont have a car. How far from the rosemont blue line stop is the gig? later bros friend of mine from chicago tells me that there's a shuttle bus that runs between the Rosemont blue line stop and Allstate Arena. Hope that helps. Actually, I've heard now that they have a shuttle from the blue line stop to Allstate an hour before the gig and then after that I guess they will have a shuttle that will run to/from there every 20 minutes or so.

At least Oasis wised up this time, and are playing at a venue that serves beer! Was at the UIC Pavilion in 2005, and no alcohol was served. Come on.

Nice. We were in assigned seating off to the side, but were still pretty good seats. I've never been at an Oasis show in GA on the floor.
We had 1st row in Cleveland with seats, but nobody was in there seats once Oasis came on. Didn't get crushed too much.

The last one was in 1998 You didn't get crushed much in Cleveland?? We had 5th row seats for that show. Man, some assfuck in a leather jacket ended up kicking me in the stomach in his attempt to get onstage at the end. Not fun. Although that night is/was probably one of my most favorite concert experiences with this band.

I'm a pretty big guy so I was able to push right back Yes it was a memorable show. I still can't believe to this day that they didn't walk off when people starting rushing the stage. I would assume that after the incident with Noel in Canada that nobody will be making it up on stage now. Girl next to me got a tambourine, and Noel's scarf.

On the side of the stage between liam & noel. We were only like a row or so back from the front since everyone just pushed the chairs out of the way. hahah. I remember either Noel or Liam saying later that night "It was all Morrissey out there at the end of the night." Sucks that the Toronto show couldn't have ended that way. Instead dude had to be a jackass. Yeah, I could never see that happening again anytime soon.

Brohams...
I lived by UIC campus, literally 2 blocks away when I went to that show in 2005. We 'pregamed', (for lack of a better term) for about 3 hours, getting bombed, smoking, and listening to The La's. ....Then we walked to the show, not realizing they didn't serve beer. Luckily I had a flask w/ straight Gentlemen Jack in it......only to have it confiscated by the God-damned security guards.........it blew.
Then, of all places, as if having nosebleeder seats weren't bad enough, we get seated directly under one of those spotlights....
Then, me ol' mate sits down, while Jet starts their set, lights up a god-damned joint, takes 2 hits....and gets kicked out...
Ahh...classic memories. But anyway, yeah I agree that serving booze will be better..........that and my 101 sections seats!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully no 'Scouse Coonts' throw piss on me, as seems to be the trend over there....

I too was at the UIC show in 05' and the no booze bs was about the gayest thing I'd ever encountered.
Oasis and Pepsi's just don't belong together.
