I hear the song in America is the most successful Oasis song over there since D'You Know What I Mean? Is this true?

i played it in my car yesterday and both my friends (who both arn't big oasis fans, they're the ones who only think of wonderwall or champagne supernova with oasis) and they both had heard the song. I live in Ohio, USA fyi ;].

It's almost in the top ten of alternative songs according to All Access which tracks every radio play for songs on U.S. and Canadian radio. It's doing really well.

I would agree with that... I listen to the radio often since college (97-01) and Shock has gotten way more airplay than any single since DYKWIM? on alternative radio. DGA was played alot and GLIO was played quite a bit on alternative radio. SOTL is their most successful first single since GLIO definitely. Lyla received some airplay but fizzled after a few weeks. SOTL is still going strong. Thanks Warner BROS!

It's on heavy rotation on satellite radio in the USA (XM and Sirius), I've read it's also played on local radios in bigger cities so that's cool.
