I just listened to it full blast on the speakers. Whoa! Awesome! Bloody hell, the sheer energy I just get off that song blasting through the speakers is just immense. That is the power of Oasis though. Try it!
Also, just heard To Be Where There's Life live, and I thank God it's finally a good tune from Gem. I hate A Bell Will Ring and Hung In A Bad Place, but he's finally delivered.
P.S. Has anyone heard the new Kaiser Chiefs song. You know that band with that fat singer who said they're better than Oasis. Words can't describe how crap it is. Just God awful. Hilariously bad it is. I was fearing a catchy tune from these light weights, so let's all be glad we didn't get it. Bloody awful.... just bloody bloody awful.

The Kaiser Chiefs are what happens when you give five ugly, talentless morons from Leeds a record deal and then allow the drummer to write all the songs.

The Kaiser Chiefs are what happens when you allow the drummer to write all the songs. Fixed, the rest is just icing on their cake of suck.

I enjoy TSOTL, but in half a year most of these people will be saying, "Yeah, solid tune. Nothing great" which is what the song is...average, but done well.
The fanfare that accompanies any new Oasis single is always overblown for lack of new material. TSOTL is nothing special. Don't get me wrong, I like it. It's a rockin' tune, and honestly, that's what Oasis does best. But it's hardly a transcendent song like DLBIA or WW. Those songs would make new Oasis fans. This song won't. It just won't.
