...if Noel sang it instead of Liam. Obviously I'm not slagging Noel's voice, it's tremendous on those softer songs and the ballads...but TSOTL is perfect proof of why Liam Gallagher is Liam Gallagher. He makes the entire song. Not the guitars, not the drums, but the vocals and the attitude...

Yea. And imagine if Liam sang something like LDSMD. Wait . . . that version came out and it's terrible. Actually, the word 'terrible' is complimentary . . .

That version is terrible because it wasn't worked on to the level that it needed to be in order to be released. If they worked harder to get Liam's voice right, it would sound great.

it's funny cause if Noel sang cast no shadow, it'd probably be seen like "oh, only noel can sing that", but then liam sang it, and it's just mega. but there's def tunes suited for noel, but i hate when he sings a song i felt liam should sing. force of nature would still suck, but it would be better with liam. that said, noel is great for mucky fingers.

I am just trying to imagine Liam singing Force of Nature. I think he could make the verse cool but that chorus, burning all my cash, stealing all my stash. He probably called in sick that day haha

...if Noel sang it instead of Liam. ...or if Chris Martin sang this instead of Liam. Then it probably would be unlistenable. It is in these type of songs Liam show his real potential. It is sad that Noel hasnt given Liam a chance to do what he does best since 1997. However I am happy that he does it now. TSOTL + Liam sounds great!

What a mess, hahaha. That got a good chuckle out of me so good job on that!
Back on topic...I think had the vocals been properly worked on that Liam's version of LDSMD would've sounded better but i dunno that it would've beaten Noel's version. Liam sounds so strained its painful just to listen to it.

That is the thing about Oasis. Noel is terrible at stuff like TSOTL, while imagine Liam singing Don't Look Back In Anger! It would be awful. But that is why Oasis are so great. They have two absolutely fantastic singers, so they can vary their music whenever they want, because it will fit one of the brother's vocals.
