Hi I didn't hear it myself, although i did hear a presenter anounce it earlier in the day, that Noel Gallagher was on Talksport radio to talk about rumours of the Manchester City chairman changing the club badge. The presenter also anounced that another presenter on the station had heard the new album and said it was a return to form. The interview was on Andy Goldstein's Eurostars show after 12pm. I don't think the website has been updated yet but I would have thought the interview will be on the site in the next few days heres a link www.talksport.net/

Nothing exciting was said except that the album was out late September. Noel wouldn't reveal the title when asked but said he didn't come up with it. The DJ said he had heard the album round Gem's house.

Wow! From what he said about the new album, I'm getting super excited!!!! He said it's not for girls, I guess he's implying that the new album is fuckin' rockin'. And both the two radio interviewers said that the album is a return to form! One of the interviews even said that it was up there with the best work of Oasis.

Probably an album worth of Rock'n'Roll Stars, Acquiesces, D'you Know What I Mean?s, Bring It On Downs, Columbias etc... I think it will be an all out really loud guitar record! I think the best part of the interview was that the words " It's up there with some of Oasis best work" and "A return to form" didn't come from Noel, but from the interviewers! Roll on September!!!

I can't wait. It's actually Liam's tunes I'm most looking forward to hearing, going to be great to hear where he is at, musically.

I feel cautiously excited about the album now. I just hope there is a bunch of tracks on the new album that can stand up to their best work, and not just one or two like the last 4 albums..

more than 2 songs on the new record that stands up with their best work? ? that would be fantastic, but let's face it... that is A LOT to ask... they've amassed a retarded amount of top tunes in 14 years... fingers crossed...

Well these quotes are saying the new album is up there, so who knows? I think Noel is due a major return to form too.

I had read a ton of reviews of DBTT saying it was a return to form too. that phrase is thrown around all too often.
