The most obviously remastered track is Wonderwall, everything else is pretty much lifted straight off the albums. There are slightly new starts to Morning Glory and Champagne Supernova because of the water sounds that linked the last few tracks of that album.
Best price for the bonus edition I've seen is £11.99 in Music Zone, fantastic when you consider how much Virgin and HMV are asking for it (nearly twenty quid!).
Go Let it Out is much louder, My husband put it in a mastering program and compared the both verisons... the Wave form is pretty different. Personally I think some of the songs sound better, while some have loss something.
IMO Some Might Say Is WAY better, Liam's vocals and the music tracks are more distinct... also is there there a bit of an echo behind Liam's voice when he sings "...follows thunder" an so on, or is it just my imagin-aaa-shion?
I also noticed that all of the WTSMG tracks seem to have an extra "UMPH" behind them...
I remember Noel mentioning in an interview how he thought that WTSMG was too trebly sounding. He said that was how everyone was mixing records at that time and that if he had mixed it now it would sound different. That could be the whole reasoning behind the remaster in the first place, and why the MG songs on STC stand out as significantly different.
The songs are remastered because when making a full CD, one needs all of the tracks to be of the same relative sound. That is to say, basic level matching, EQ, compression/limiting etc. This makes it work cohesively. Unfortunately, it seems that the remastering of this just meant "LOUD LOUD LOUD!" which really takes away from the limited dynamics Oasis already worked within. Also, (WTS) MG? is harldy what I would call trebly - far from it as a matter of fact.
